A pure driving simulator can still be played with a gamepad, and without any troubles with spinning, crashing and whatnot. Some prefer gamepads, other wheel.

Of course you can, but I would like to see someone gaming with gamepad and doing top 5 or 10 leaderboard times in simulators (like iRacing or similar). This guy must then have beyond normal sensitivity to play with throttle and steering on gamepad and still be one of the fastest guys in the world. Of course it is easier to drive with gamepad if you have all the different assists on, but in that case, everything feels arcadish.

Rumors going around that this will be delayed until the Spring. I hope they are true, the game could use more work

Aww, too bad. :( Well, one thing is for sure, this should make DriveClub even better in 2014 due to working the devs working more on it.

At the mean time, more power to GT6. ;)

Im considering cancelling my PS4 preorder in favor of GT6 now.

Cant say theres a single PS4 game at launch I'll play for any extended amount of time.

I don't mind it being delayed... There are so many other games which I will play, so I don't have time for this anytime soon anyway.

I know theres Killzone: Shadow Fall and Knack, but not really enough. :indiff: I can't believe so many games are getting delayed on PS4. Strange.

It probably is more arcade than simulator, yet you can't make a decision by looking a video where you use gamepad. It is supposed to be very easy to handle, because driving a pure simulator with gamepad, you'll probably end up spinning all the time or just not going fast enough.
We JUST had this discussion a couple pages back, Driveclub NOT a simulation racer. Looks fun for sure, but its not a simulation racer.

I think most people will wait until they have actually played it before judging.
if the Internet has taught me anything it's that people apparently do not need any form of personal experience other than hearsay to become an expert about it.

THAT'S IT!

I'm not getting a PS4. 3 games interested me, Assassins Creed IV, dual release, Watchdogs, pushed back, and this, now also pushed back!

42 days left to PS4 launch and each every day i have same feelings. Maybe it's better idea to not buy PS4 until decent games arrive. For sure racing game would be fun but it have to stand against WRC 4 and GT6, i don't think that Driveclub have a chance it this competition, what to play when you have to decide between DriveClub and WRC 4 + GT6, it's should be obvious it's not DriveClub

PS4 will be on shelves in less than 30 days. Perhaps they should focus on making what they have finished in DriveClub free-to-play with an expansion as DLC. SONY can't afford this delay and possibly more to become major news, to the point of being talked about on television. Even those who aren't interested in DC might cancel orders because they are losing confidence in SONY.

The more I see of this game, the less interested I become. Roll on GT7 for the PS4! :D

So definitely not getting a PS4 at launch. But, most of us felt that way anyway...

[INNERFANBOY]Will still get this a some point, because Evolution...[/INNERFANBOY]

I agree so now when I get my PS4 I will just sell it as the only games that I wanted were Watchdogs and Driveclub and they've both been pushed back. I've become less interested in Driveclub now that it's been delayed so I will just wait for GT7.

Wow, I knew there wasn't much to take my fancy but that's one really weak line up.

About 3 games from there would interest me. Injustice Gods Among Us, which I believe has been out like 2 months now. FIFA 14, but football is football, what can you really change for "Next Gen". NFS at a push, but if hardly play due to GT6 a week later and then Assassins Creed which is PS3/4 anyway so may as well buy on PS3.

What I'm thinking is I wait till Feb-April time when it's my birthday, buy a PS4 with my own money then anything I receive from family can go on some games. It's a real shame it's such a poor line up. The game from them I'd probably play most is Minecraft.... I sure as hell ain't paying £350 for that!

It looks fantastic and its one of the first real gameplay of racing other cars. Getting this the day it comes out in 2014.

Looks very promising, A.I looks incredible. Glad they delay is being put to good use.

Don't mind them delaying games if they use the time wisely and make a noticeable improvement, however if they pull a PD and delay delay delay then still release a half finished game I won't be happy.
