I may quote myself from another thread here:

It's a great gamepad, but I still think that the Xbone controller is superior. The gap is much closer than in current gen though. Of course that is just my impression, I guess if I wasn't used to the 360 pad, I couldn't complain at all.

I have to say though, the rumble effect in Forza 5 (RT) made you really feel the engine / wheelspin. Hard to explain, but totally awesome from what I could tell.

How did the triggers feel on the DS4? Did they feel spongey/mushy? Or did they feel more like the X360 triggers which are smooth and springey?

I wish I could remember for sure. But since I know exactly what you mean (because I don't like the feel of the PS3 triggers) , I hope that they improved them, because I don't remember not liking the fell of L2/R2.
So fingers crossed ;)
Maybe the different shape of L2/R2 tricked me though, since they are more concave than the convex ones of the DS3.

Will Driveclub have real circuits like Spa and Silverstone or will it all be street circuit/point to point rubbish like in Grid 2? I am asking this because in all of the videos I've seen, the cars have been on random streets instead of real world circuits.

No race circuits yet.

And I believe Evo were trying to recreate the ultimate driving roads, rather than "random streets". :P

DriveClub (exclusive) - 60 FPS Gameplay on YouTube & Download

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CUG0KFtfqHU

The maximum FPS that supports YouTube in our videos are 30, however, using a series of programs, I managed to watch the video on YouTube about 60FPS -a bit unstable because you need to enable HTML5 video and put the speed 2.0x- to simulate the 60FPS.

DriveClub currently going to 30FPS in the PS4, but have promised to try to reach 60FPS, and if you download the video (link in description) you can see in exclusive as seen DriveClub at 60FPS completely real, and as you can see is quite noticeable that gain fluency.

I don't like anything i'm seeing lately in Driveclub. No real race Tracks like SPA and Nordschleife is big NO for me.

And driving from point to point is, well it's point...less! ? :)

^GT6..... Also made by Sony first party. Why would they make 2 similar games to compete with each other? They are different types of racing games and GT6 is the game for you!

Loving this game, best thing about the lite version being free is that everyone will have it,so organising car clubs will be great.

I'm reserving my judgment until after information is released as to just how lite this will be.

From what I understood,it's the same game with less cars possibly with less non game changing features but I'm not sure on the latter.

Anybody want to risk guessing what others 25-30 cars the game will have?

So far, the confirmed cars are:

Alfa Romeo 4C
Aston Martin Vanquish
Aston Martin One-77
Aston Martin V12 Zagato
Audi R8 V10 plus
Audi RS5
Audi TT RS
BAC Mono
Bentley Continental GT
BMW M3 GTS
BMW M5
Gumpert Apollo Enraged
Hennesey Venom GT
Koenigsegg Agera R (2013)
Marussia B2
Maserati GranTurismo MC Stradale
McLaren MP4-12C
Mercedes-Benz A45 AMG
Mercedes-Benz CLA45 AMG
Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Coupé Black Series
Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG Coupé Black Series
Pagani Huayra
RUF CTR-3
RUF RT-12R (2013)
Savage Rivale Roadyacht GTS

What other cars would you like to see the most?

I personally would want to see the Zonda 760RS and the Jaguar C-X75, which are both rare cars to see in video-game and I'm fearing not to see them in DriveClub - for both their rarities and with Huayra in and Jag still not confirmed for it.

Also, if the game happens to have Ferrari, the newly announced 458 Speciale and the P4/5 would be awesome (LaFerrari, F12 and 458 Italia are all "standard"), as well as California (and/or its near future replacement), 430 Scuderia, FF, 599 GTO and of course, Enzo. FXX Evo would be awesome as well.

For Lamborghini (still not shown as well), the Veneno, Sesto Elemento and Murciélago SV (Aventador and any of the Gallardo LP570-4 are also "standard", even though I dont think we are going to see the 720-4 or the Gallardo STS/Squadra Corse or the 550-2 - which all would be awesome). LFA and GT-R, for me, are both obligatory, as well as the P1 (since McLaren is confirmed - and what about the MP4 HC or the classic F1?).

Lately? As if we didn't know that ages ago. No idea why you still were hoping for real racetracks.

Something tells me that they would have shown Lambos already if they have them...

I think we wont see any Ferraris or Lamborghinis because like Stig Farmer said we'd probably would already have seen them by now

With that in mind, I'd like to see some newer supercars along with some from the 90s

'12 Ariel Atom V8
'92 Bugatti EB110
'11 Bugatti Veyron
'13 Corvette Stingray
'99 Dodge Viper GTS
'13 Dodge Viper SRT
'06 Ford GT
'95 Ford Indigo
'13 Lotus Elise
'95 Lotus Epsirit V8
'94 McLaren F1
'99 Isdera Commendatore 112i
'92 Jaguar XJ220
'96 RUF CTR
'13 RUF CTR3
'91 Vector Aeromotive W8

Because game had real potential that is now ruined. All i see is getting points for overtake and for crossing some stages. And track layout is almost the same in every game play.

I just need do wait and see some other point to point stages. Or WRC 4 is going to be game ill play and PS4 would just crash in my living room without game to play during launch day. That would be just sick. :nervous:

The game was never marketed as having real racetracks... and anyway, a certain Ridge Racer and WipEout both do not use real-world circuits, yet you don't seem to mind ;)

From all the gameplay I've seen, I see no point-to-point stages yet.

All gameplay as far as I'm aware has been from the same track location with perhaps a slightly different layout. Others locations will be of course vary. It's no different to having different configurations of a purpose-built circuit.

For me, the most desirable cars would be the F-Type and the CX-75. Both not in any game yet, both incredibly sexy. Saw a pair of F-Types leaving the local dealership a few weeks ago, when they accelerated in a tunnel some meters ahead of me, I made a little oopsie in my underpants! :embarrassed: Dat glorious sound!

Other than that, I would love to see some concept cars like the Aston CC100, the Audi Quattro concept, the Alpine A 110-50, the Acura NSX etc

Some rivals for the A45 and the 4C would be nice, too. The Audi RS3 and the Lotus Elise/Exige come to mind.

looks good but i don't like the overall drive club idea and all that "mini challanges" and i don't know why but it doesn't "give" me anything, i got bored just after 30 sec of watching it just like gran turismo. maybe i've to try it or i got too hyped by project cars.

In general however I don't like the online focus new games are getting. but that's me.

I didnt know Drive Club had dashboard reflections on the windshield

I only noticed that too during the direct feed video from the Gamescom build. Looks great.

I'm usually not one for using much social media but I am interested in seeing how the club infrastructure operates in reality.

Roll on 29 November.

I'm not a big fan of the hovering checkpoints that are littered all over the track. Why go to such lengths recreating the cars and modeling the tracks with so much detail and realistic effects, only to ruin it with all those silly banners over the road? I just don't get it. Are people too stupid to know that they reached a checkpoint if you just put a sign by the road, or paint a line on the tarmac?

It's a bit like when flight simulator developers decides that having floating rings to fly through would be a good design...

Apart from that, I like the way it looks.
