They completely borked the new paints. Just last week I was saying to myself this game needs chrome as a material for liveries. I was excited at the announcement but the way they've done it, they're hideously hard to unlock (level 15, really? I beat the game five times over and still don't have a single car past 11), need to be earned for each individual car and therefore can't be carried over across all cars, like a normal livery would. So club liveries are out. And the new paint types cannot be used alongside metallic in liveries. So strange and really poorly designed, unusual for Evolution.

For Info if this helps anyone who is not sure on buying the BIKES add on::cheers:

The way I read the update and this confirms it, It looks like on DEC 15 anyone who hasn't brought the BIKES add on can still use the new KTM bike. 👍

You don't even need to wait until the 15th, I drove the X-Bow for a couple of hours last night to get to KTM level 10 which unlocked the bike. I used it as like a free demo for the bikes DLC.

I am glad about that. I don't have enough money to buy all of the bikes but one bike I am fine.

What needs to be done to get the KTM accolade?
Drive any KTM vehicle...so that's the one bike and the X-Bow.

It really isn't as hard as it might seem. Using the new KTM for an hour today (with interruptions) I got it up to level ten just re-doing a few skill events.

I think you'll be surprised at how quickly it racks up as there are a load more other accolades adding to your XP as you earn them too.

Still no Fanatec wheel support. Hurting...:boggled:

You're not the only one! I was even thinking of getting the GIMX adapter up & running, but by the time I did EVO would probably add them.

:ouch:

I'm with you. Still no Fanatec wheel support. Sony is not supporting until Fanatec does a licensed Wheel by the way it looks.

It's Fanatics responsibility to supply drivers for their wheels, and to obtain a PS4 license for the wheels that they want supported on the PS4.

I thought from the log that elite levels and driver levels were separate now, but in the GUI it still looks like before, I am driver 71 / elite 11 with the elite 12 challenge done but I can't see anywhere the elite 13 challenge to be done, am I missing something?

Go to your profile and at the left is your current challenge, select that and it'll take you to that track (it won't though if you don't have enough stars or XP)

but that is the thing, I thought the notes said that now elite levels and fame levels should be separate (the fame would just give the driver level) I thought I would be able to say, go up to elite 30 while still only having enough fame for driver 70, but I might have misunderstood the patch notes

The elite levels still have a required stars amount and fame level to unlock. When I booted up after updating my driver level reached 85 automatically because I had the fame required to reach level 85. But I still then needed to complete the time trials to complete elite levels 21-25.

That's the one - same position as myself - fame level 85 elite 20.

ok, so seems the same as it was before, when I read

Driver Levels & Elite Levels are now separate. Your Driver Level advances as you earn Fame. Your Elite Level advances as you complete the Elite objectives.

I thought the two progressions would be separate and I could keep having fun on the elite challenges without having to wait for the fame for the driver levels, guess not!

I don't like it one bit that bikes are now mixed with cars for the elite levels. Not at all (insert profanity). I hate to be forced to use bikes to proceed, but I will try ruthlessly anyway. 🤬:banghead:

There's an elite event with a bike? I haven't tried any of the latest five yet (being a bit too hung on beer from your country ;))

I didn't like the elite levels at all to unlock the Renault. If you are master perfectionist i guess that's a problem.

There's an elite event with a bike?
Yup, the second one. I stopped playing BIKES when I realized that I'd probably like them a lot with VR. But that won't come any time soon (maybe next year). I was complaining that the elite levels are too easy. Well, they heard me.

I drove the KTM bike after I achieved level 10 KTM owner accolade and it is almost undriveable on a wheel. On a controller, It feels balanced.

It turns out that it is very well drivable with a wheel (T300). Make sure to be up straight or leaning into the next corner before braking.

Well, I for one will look forward to trying elite level 81 then, though that is probably where my progress will stop...
