Great, you can't view full leaderboards so it's of no use for me and Torque's competition series.

Bit of a let down. :(

Guys, What does the 'accept' button do in the mobile app? I accepted a few but none showed up when I launched DC :odd:
Hopefully someone can answer that - I don't have a smart phone, so unfortunately can't help.

Guys, do we know if we are getting monthly updates now or if the last months thing was a one off?
Unknown, I think. My guess is probably bi-monthly but I don't think anyone has said either way. Rushy did say that February's would be big due to no January update.

I've been playing with the x2 points on Hypercars and got this accolade

Are there any more manufacturers accolades with such a high bonus?

I'm trying to max all the Hypercars now. :D Powersliding on the Old Town with 4x4 Lambos is an easy way to get points. Roughly 15-22k (35-44k with x2) per lap just from drifts. For others I use 1 lap races on legend difficulty - 60-70k per race.

Assumed cars for the following months.

Place your bets gents.

- Mazda RX-7 FD
- Subaru Impreza 22B STI /2015 STI
- Toyota GT86
- Toyota Supra RZ
- Mitsubishi LanEvo
- Lexus LF-A

I'd be surprised if I saw the Chirom come up though.

Wishlisting aside, I can't get enough of the Skyline on Nakasendo. It's a heaven sent I tell you. Plus it's very photogenic in DC.

Mercedes is definately up there. I think McLaren and Audi have pretty high rewards as well.

Hello Everyone!

Recently i've bought a used copy of Driveclub (Region 2), i used to play the Free PS+ version (Region 1) back then but i had to remove it due to running out of space. I was actually gonna buy it on PSN but i can't just wait to download 30+ GB especially since i have a bad internet.

Currently i have a problem with playing the game itself. The game installed then started updating like normal but i noticed that i can't play the game while downloading the update. Back on the PS+ version and pretty much every other game, i used to be able to download an update while playing the game on 1.0. So any help? or should i just wait 'till i finish all the updates which takes a lot of time?

(Had to use my phone's 4G connection, other wise it could reach from half to a full day!)

Ether way, i'm looking forward to have join the fun with you guys, also planning on buying the season pass and DLC's since the game seems to improved a lot over the time. 👍

Hi ToyGTone. The situation with DC's updates is that it affects every part of the game, so like @sems4arsenal suggests, it will make playing the game difficult until the updates are done. Most other PS4 games were designed to be playable within a minute or two of starting the download, but for the above reasons, this doesn't apply to DC (the full game) The PS+ version was a complete unit with updates included (unless you left it a months or so.)

Nnnnnnnope. I meant a price slash on the base game and season pass.

Oh. I had my hopes up. :(

Ah well. At least with the sale, more people will try the game. That's how I got into this. Best $20 I've spent on a game so far. There's just so many events and you can still make a significant reward for playing outside of the career. Yesterday, I was presented with the option to drive the LaFerrari in an event, but I haven't unlocked it yet. I decided to use the CX-75 instead because I felt like it would spoil the satisfaction of working for it.

Perhaps not a surprise, but it's 'more' :D

Maybe the VR version for Driveclub? It was showcased last year, with the potential of 60fps. (they had to tone down some of the graphical detail, but I think that's not too bad).

Can't wait.

For the life of me, I can not figure out the braking points on Kinloch reverse for the Ferrari Enzo Solo Time Trial event. I have had to restart the race so many times because I screw up my entry into the first major turn. Then, there's the chicane-like section after it where I almost spin out upon accelerating in the next turn. Finally, the big hairpin. I brake far too early because I can't judge my distance properly.

I just want to get first place on one of these community challenges. Currently, I'm at 15th place with a time of 1:19.840 so I have roughly one second to shave off. O_O

EDIT: Do I need to reach level 15 in every car to get the Platinum trophy? Also, can I get Platinum without purchasing the Bikes and No Limits packs?

You don't have to reach lv 15 with every car to get the Platinum trophy. However, you'll have to reach lv 6 in the manufacters accolades. Just for one manufacter.

And yes, no limits tours or any DLC is NOT necessary to get the Platinum trophy. Neither the Bikes. The Bike expansion has its own trophy set and its own Platinum.

If you want to get 100% of the trophies for DC cars, then you have to get all DLCs. Meaning: buy season pass and get all events 3 starred.

I do have the season pass and I try to complete one tour each day. I just finished the Evolution tour. Holy crap, those racing lines on A-Class Buggy are something else. You would've fooled me if you said Rockstar Games developers were driving.

GDC starts March 14th - surely some big VR news there, and hopefully some big DC/GTS VR news...

I have just done the elite level 15 challenge (Gumpert Apollo at Kinloch ) and I was wondering did anyone else find it hard? I did all the previous events after a few trys but this one took multiple attempts over a few days (not that bothered since hyper cars are on double xp)
