The green fame icon indicates your Elite level. The time trial is one of 3 objectives for that Elite level, the other two being fame points and stars. Once all objectives are complete, you will move to the next Elite level.

That sounds like the Elite level you were curious about earlier. The event would have been the first. I'm guessing your level is now '1' after the Bandipur event. You won't be able to redo those once you have completed them, and to access the next, just go to your profile page and the current one available will be on the left section; bear in mind that each challenge's availability is dependant upon having sufficient stars and fame.

EDIT: what are the chances of two posts answering an hours-old question at the same time, eh?

My level didn't change after the event, unless it corrected itself overnight. I'll check later.

Wait, so is the new DLC being named 'Finish Line' indicative of the possibility that this is the last DLC package we'll receive?

I think they would be a bit more forth-coming if DLC was to end so suddenly like this, to be honest. Plus with DCVR on it's way they will want some pretty new things to show that off.

It's just a strange name to give it if it isn't the last one. However you may be right, as there is now an odd number of tours, albeit without a blank 'Coming Soon' banner.

Can someone with twitter ask Paul if Porsche will ever make it to Driveclub?! 918 pffffffffff

O amd i have the felling that the water effects on the road are less then befote or is that just me??

There is no need to ask about that. For now only EA and Turn10 (Forza) have license to include Porsche cars in their games and I don't think it is going to change anytime soon.

There is no official info about Ford. But there are many rumours that Turn 10 also had some sort of agreement/license with them - Forza Motorsport 6 opening with Ford GT 2017.

Care to share a link with any actual evidence that suggests that Turn 10 has any exclusivity deal going with Ford?
Rumors aren't worth a single thing if they are all based on pure speculation.

How could I share a link to actual evidence? I just said above it's a rumour. The only thing we know is that Forza Motorsport 6 is the only game to have Ford GT 2017, Shelby GT350R 2016, F-150 2016 and Focus Rs 2016.

This is not an evidence, but:

"In collaboration with Ford to celebrate the launch of Forza Motorsport 6, as a material design exercise, the Xbox hardware team created a custom Xbox Elite Wireless Controller inspired by the cover car of Forza Motorsport 6 – the all-new Ford GT."

Edit. Gt350R is also in mobile game made by EA- Real Racing 3.

A partnership does not equal exclusive rights. I've said it before, and I'll say it again. Too many people post inaccurate claims about exclusivity without having any tangible evidence to base it on. Rumors don't mean anything if they're based purely on imagination.

When companies make deals that include some form of exclusivity, they tend to make a big deal out of it in their marketing. Seeing as neither Ford nor Turn 10 or Microsoft has said anything about the latest Ford cars being exclusive to the Forza franchise, we can safely assume that they aren't. The lack of the latest Ford GT in other games is more likely the result of a lack of new racing sim titles. We haven't had a new Gran Turismo for a while, and they aren't big on DLC. The makers of Project Cars are busy making people pay for cars that they announced in the years preceeding the release of their game. And Evolution have seemingly neglected to obtain a license for Ford cars, or at least haven't gotten around to including them in the game yet.

So if you don't have any actual evidence of a car, or anything else for that matter, being exclusive to a particular company, then please don't say it is. Because all too often someone will read it, and post it as fact somewhere else.

*The Focus RS isn't actually in the game yet

The only game with it is the new Need for Speed.

Forza & EA NFS2015 has old/new Fords, (inc. RS2016 /NFS) so lets wait and see...I didn't mean to cause a heated discussion:cheers: ..It just seems odd there isn't even one Ford car, There must be a reason for them not being in DC which we will or won't find out.👍

Look who liked my pics :D;)

So I've been mucking about with the Civic Type R in hardcore mode, heavy rain, HUD off, interior view, very early morning to prove myself as a driver.

One thing I've picked up about Hardcore mode
Is that when I apply left foot braking and trail braking techniques, the theory behind them actually holds their weight. When I left foot brake, the Civic just rotates around corners nicely, when I trail brake, the car tends to be more behaved and I can power out of the corner neatly.

I've also found that feathering your inputs also helps greatly.

All in all, I think hardcore mode is a good simulation.

I'm using a DS4 by the way.

That could mean a problem for Driveclub and maybe even Gran Turismo :irked:

@Rushy33 Have you seen that beautiful Alfa from the thirties arriving in Forza ;)

A classic GP Tour pack run in rétro or sephia filter and the replays with those classic film grains...💡

This! I hope one day Evo decides to add classic cars or american muscle cars. Imagine the sounds from classics Camaros, Chargers, Barracudas, Mustangs or the details and on a mercedes 300sl, ferrari 250GTO or a Jag e-type.

C'mon Evo! You know it's possible. Lol
