If Sony is relocating them so to speak, then that's one thing. If they're not, I highly suspect (read: suspect and hope) Microsoft and/or Turn 10 are scrambling right now...

I doubt Sony will relocate all of Evolution's now-former employees. Hopefully this will mean a better future for Forza, because with the way things are, I'm not very hopeful for SCE to do anything good.

I'm still happy with PS4 + PC, There is not a single game or feature that I could care about on the Xbox. I'm actually more interested in the Wii U at the moment, the arrival of Pokken Tournament raised my attention towards Nintendo after a long time.

Pokkén Tournament is like the best thing since sliced bread. Mind you, this is coming from one who is both a Tekken fan and a Pokéfanatic. :dopey:
But you be you, if you're happy as you are right now, I won't stop you from enjoying what you have. ;)

I'm so upset :( I've played many racing games since the PS1, and no game has had me in awe as much as Driveclub. No racing game had me coming back more than Driveclub. No racing game pushed me to just keep setting lap times over and over again. No game had me demonstrating the PS4 to my friends and begging them to buy this game than Driveclub.

I hope the folks from Evolution can develop another great racing game somehow. They're dedication and support was unparalleled.

I hope deep down that Driveclub can live on somehow, and by that I mean it continues as a service offering new features etc, or there's a Driveclub 2.

IT'S NOT OVER YET!

I've been on the Playstation side all the way since the first one. The thing is that my favorite IPs are in a grey area right now. Driveclub, Gran Turismo, The Last of Us and God of War.

Xbox1 on the other hand has a racing console seller game. And pretty much the other games I like to play, shooters and fighting games, I could play there. For a moment I just felt like trying Forza 6.

I'll stick with Playstation I guess.

To think that a couple of days ago Rushy was tweeting his interest of having Mazdas and the LF-A in the game.

I'm both angry and sad at this, not just for their efforts, but all of their future plans for expanding the game are gone. I hope there's at least some support for new cars and tracks for this year, just to top it off and end it with a bang.

Enjoy the current new cars, guys. It might be our last.

Man, did they somehow predict this and named the last tour as Finish Line or was this just a coincidence?

@Rushy33 crowdfund a title and you could have massive support

I'm unable to check the US PSN store, but it's in the UK one, at £2.99.

Also, the full game with the season pass is now only £7.99. Which is...shocking.
Yeah, I agree. If Sony wanted money, then surely not selling the game at constant reductions would have helped - they cut the price very early on and it never seemed to go back up by much.

...what's the final cap for Driver Levels and Elite Leves in the game?
Elite reaches 50 and the final level cap is 120 - I think Club level cap is 75.

Don't know if I want the final pack now. I bought the packs in support of Evolution Studios who lived up to their namesake right up until the culling call.

Professionalism at it's finest.

That's a good point, but seeing as it was their last bit of work as a studio I think that outweighs the negatives.

Looking on the bright side, I'm happy to have played a game that has brought me so much joy and excitement despite its shaky beginnings.

Also, thank you to you chaps here on the DC subforum for being the most chilled bunch ever.

I'm still gonna play DC though and let Evo be an example of how to put your heart and soul into a game that the community loves.

Driveclub truly rose from the ashes of its pitiful launch like a phoenix to become EVO's best work since Motorstorm Pacific Rift. It is definitely a fantastic swansong from a developing team that has won the hearts of many - and rightfully so.

The finish line tour pack is in USA. It seems like the PS Store is a bit messed up because it shows the DLC in the game but not on the website.

What a massive ....... shame. Loss of some very talented developers and a beautiful game engine that will probably go unused - I assume. I hope everyone at the studio will get back on their feet as soon as possible.

I never once regretted buying Driveclub, the Season Pass or DC Bikes. The game's rocky launch aside, Driveclub is in its current state a fantastic - and one of the best - arcade racers out there. The support the game has received has been unprecedented, frankly. It's saddening that it had to end already.

So long, Evolution Studios. You will be missed.
