Makes me happy too that Codemasters got them!

I'm still super upset that my favourite racing game, and maybe my favourite game of all time probably won't get a sequel. And the people behind it are now gone from Sony. I don't have Xbox, so having Driveclub with the slow Polyphony studio was a dream for me. And now the strength Sony potentially had with Evolution/Driveclub is gone.

Glad I'll still get to play their games though :) but I'm gunna be hurting for a while...

Look into DiRT Rally in the meantime, it's pretty tough and a well put together game - okay, i's not the same thing as DC but it does have daily as well as weekly and monthly challenges.

Really great news for the Evolution Team I am pleased for them and for Codies investing in their talent, I never expected this. I thought they may set up a VR production team some how on their own but I have a feeling VR will be a big part of this decision with CM in competition with GT/Forza hopefully as said with sim/simcade releases each year I will be in heaven :D I loved most of Evolution and CM games so far with the latest two DC and Dirt Rally being my favourites and followed both companies from the beginning so a Win Win for me..Will they have to re write that DC game engine for CM or will Sony allow them any thing to use.. i.e brilliant photomode, etc:bowdown:

Yea, I'm definitely gunna pick up Dirt Rally eventually. Busy lately, playing other games (The Crew), and can't spend the money as of now, but I can't wait to play it soon!

That's great news. First, because people losing their jobs is a terrible thing. Even more when it happens with talented hardworking people as Evo crew. (That's the impression they left IMO)

Secondly, I've played many Codies's games (Grid and F1 mostly) and can't wait for what Evolution guys may bring to these franchises. If they are to work with'em.

Meanwhile... PD and Kaz don't say no word about the next GT game... It may come a moment when we won't feel its absence anymore.

So, while my internet was down, I decided to make my own endurance race because I need to get Ferrari's Accolade level to 6 for the LaFerrari. 25 laps at Sinclair Pass. Legendary difficulty. My FXX vs an incredibly persistent Koenigsegg. 37 minutes of chaotic fun. I check after the race to see I only need 12 more miles to hit level 6. I was originally at 63 miles to go. I make a 5-lap race and complete it. Surprised that the LaFerrari wasn't unlocked, I checked my stats and saw my internet came back online. Back to 63 miles. I hate when games require an online connection to track stats. :grumpy:

I had something similar with a TT time and accolade then when I logged back in later that day it had updated the server and my time& miles were there..Fingers crossed yours are there somewhere? that sounds one long race for nothing if not (although enjoyable)👍

Just a reminder :)

Tried to have a race online last night. Does anybody still actually play online?
Funnily enough, I ran a race yesterday (AM for me) and there were people playing - they were polite and didn't try to ram either. I suspect the latter was an anomaly though. I suppose that it just depends on the time of day. Having said that I expect the numbers will have dropped a bit by now. Last week the lobbies were still healthy when I took a 'glimpse'.

Just had a full lobby. All 12 finished the race which happens rarely...

Guess who won?
