I wish I didn't have to purchase an unrelated add-on to the game I originally purchased so I can continue with the elite levels. I bought a car racing game, nothing against the bikes but, the free KTM event gave me a headache and was not enjoyable.

Maybe I am missing something and there is a way around the bikes or I'm finished at 30?

You're stuck on 30 I'm afraid.It's a shame Evo didn't give a car option for people without the bikes expansion but I think being in TRL makes up for those missing elite levels:)

Wait, so you don't get to use the bike for the elite level event if you don't own it? I was under the impression you could use the bikes for the elite levels even if you didn't own the pack! 👎

Not sure about that, but anyway you'd get stuck at some point without the stars.

Try third-person view, makes the whole experience a lot smoother - if that suits, then getting the packs won't be such a chore.

Stuck for sure, that's ok I guess......Dirt Rally is tomorrow and Assetto Corsa is coming soon :) I guess your right except they need a little PINK color in the team paint job, lol.

There is a KTM that is required at an earlier point in the elite levels and is free once you max the KTM manufacturer out, I have no idea why at level 30 the same thing can't be done. But, as @Outspacer noted, there is a point where you can not get anymore stars without purchasing the bikes, I'm there :(

I tried Elf, I would buy it if I could get even a little into it but, it's just not for me.
 
Only just bought the newest car and bikes pack. Love everything about the Jaguar XJ220. It's a sexy bullet of a car, and it sounds great too. The Regera is arguably the sexiest Koenigsegg ever made, but it's also the most boring as a result of a weird transmission. Shame.

The last tour pack was okay. Nothing particular challenging. I liked the last championship, but thought it was a shame that it didn't end with a 1V1, racing into the sunset. Would've felt appropriate, I think.

DLC was usually 2nd Tuesday right? That'd be next week if I remember correctly.

It tended to vary, sometimes not appearing until month's end. I'm not sure though if we'll see anything this month - I mean, has anyone heard a peep out of the Sony team surrogating for Evolution?
 
Are we actually expecting more? I have pretty much resigned myself to thinking that anything left unfinished in development will never see the light of day, and that keeping the servers running will be the extent of the DriveClub service from here on.
 
Its a shame that Sony are not taking over DriveClub twitter and keeping the 'community' following them going or re-tweeting videos, comments and the great photo mode. That for me was part of Drive Clubs 'heart' awaiting updates and comments from the team. I feel sorry for Evolution seeing all the effort made after launch to build up their large fan base to have it stop like this. I will always play DriveClub but I am really waiting to see what happens to the Franchise now if they don't interact soon.
 
I think Driveclub will continue as a service and that's that. The EVO team doesn't have any influence anymore and it's obvious they have moved on and are focussing on their new project.

I wouldn't be surprised if there are actually no plans anymore for DC other than keep it running.
 
I'm pretty sure that Sony have no plans to do anything further with DC.

Perhaps DCVR will survive as a tech demo.

I didn't know that there was a way to delete my tour progression, but I found a game save and tried to delete it. I can do all the tours again now. :bowdown:

I've started a new PSN ID and I'm doing all the tours again too. Gotta say the experience is as great as the 1st time I completed them.

Also, somehow everything seems way easier. The drift events are a piece of cake now, and you have many more car (DLCs) options to complete some events, instead of the strict list when the game was released.
 
@skydragon49 Actually it will be my 3rd time doing all the events... 1st time I just played them all to get 3 stars, 2nd to get below 1000th place in ranking (managed to do it in all 6&9 star events and some/most 3 star) :lol:

Playing tours is just way more interesting than single races for me. :cheers:
