So the quest for the 2nd seat at Williams continues...

And to answer your question blake, no i don't think JV will be there next season, i'd say look out for Rosberg if williams don't snatch him up...

Blake
For any particular reason?

Blake

Well i suppose JV has picked up his game of late, but he is so hard to work with I don't think BMW would want the hassle is their debut season...

But the thing is, he's now beating Massa in the championship. I know he's not popular and has a bad reputation, but as of late he's been doing a decent job.

Oh yeah so he is.... well perhaps he could get it but then he will have competition for sure.

I'd say it's the contract he's got that says he's racing next year virtually says they're getting the hassle...

Blake
It's now official, Nick Hiedfeld will be driving for BMW from 2006-2008. They made no mention of a second driver, which begs the question, will JV be driving there in 2006?

Note: Drivers In Brackets are test drivers for their respectable teams
Ferrari

Michael Schumacher
Felipe Massa
[Lucas Badoer]
[Marc Gene]

BAR

Rubens Barrichello
Anthony Davidson or Jenson Button
[Takuma Sato (Only if Button Moves to Williams)]

Renault

Fernando Alonso
Giancarlo Fishchella
[Frank Motagony]

Williams

Antonio Pizzonia Or Jenson Button
Nico Rosberg
[Mark Webber or Christian Albers (Only if Button Stays at BAR) ]

Mclearn

Kimi Raikkonen
Juan Pablo Montoya
[Alex Wurz]
[Pedro De la Rosa]

BMW

Nick Heldfield
Jacques Vileneuve
[Christen Klien]

Red Bull

David Coulthard
Vitantonio Liuzzi
[Robert Doornobs or Christian Albers (If Button Stays at BAR)]

Toyota

Jarno Truilli
Ralf Schumacher
[Oliver Panis]
[Richardo Zonta]

Midland

Tiago Montiero
Christian Albers (If Button Stays at BAR) or Robert Doornobs
[Narian Kathrikeyan]
[Nicholas Kiesa]

Minardi

Scott Speed
Heiki Kovalainen
[Neel Jani]

This lineup will all depend on Jenson Button. If button will stay at BAR, Williams will likely grab Christian Albers and put him into a test drive role with Mark webber or Nico Rosberg. On the other hand if button moves to williams Chrisitian Albers will move to either Midland or even Red Bull if he's lucky. As a result Robert Doornbos will move back to midland and probably drive as a second driver if Albers moves to red bull. Heiki Kovalainen could move to any team that needs a talent driver or/and a test driver.

Why is Webber a test driver?

And why isn't Klien at either of the Red Bull teams?

Blake

At least this damn Button thing is over. It is nice to see that Button can weasel out of anything. Let's see where he wants to go next season. How any team can trust him at this point I don't know.

Good for Williams though, they will need the cash more than some two-faced loser driver.

Over and done.

All this being said a Rubens/Button combo will be a pretty solid combo next year.

Yeah that sounds real.

BAR

Rubens Barrichello
Anthony Davidson or Jenson Button
[Takuma Sato (Only if Button Moves to Williams)]

Well Button is staying now so it looks like this:

Rubens Barrichello
Jenson Button
[Takuma Sato] (Prob)

K Racer_51
Renault

Fernando Alonso
Giancarlo Fishchella
[Frank Motagony]

Sounds good except Webber may still join them...

K Racer_51
Williams

Antonio Pizzonia Or Jenson Button
Nico Rosberg
[Mark Webber or Christian Albers (Only if Button Stays at BAR) ]

Well Button IS at BAR so why is Webber a test driver!? i think it looks better like this:

Mark Webber
Nico Rosberg or Antonio Pizzonia
[Whoever doesnt get the 2nd seat]

Where you got Albers from i dont know, hes joining Midland by the sound of things.

K Racer_51
Mclearn

Kimi Raikkonen
Juan Pablo Montoya
[Alex Wurz]
[Pedro De la Rosa]

Yep thats fine

K Racer_51
BMW

Nick Heldfield
Jacques Vileneuve
[Christen Klien]

Yeah I think you could possibly have got the drivers correct but for 3rd driver to be Klien? No way he will be at RBR. To be honest I can't think of anyone who could be 3rd driver, perhaps Doornbos.

K Racer_51
Red Bull

David Coulthard
Vitantonio Liuzzi
[Robert Doornobs or Christian Albers (If Button Stays at BAR)]

DC will be partnered by Klien, 3rd driver I do not know, prob soemone from their sponsorship program in GP2.

K Racer_51
Toyota

Jarno Truilli
Ralf Schumacher
[Oliver Panis]
[Richardo Zonta]

Yep

K Racer_51
Midland

Tiago Montiero
Christian Albers (If Button Stays at BAR) or Robert Doornobs
[Narian Kathrikeyan]
[Nicholas Kiesa]

I don't get this now, you have placed Albers in 3 different teams... This is the team he will be racing for im sure.
Monteiro I think you are right with.

K Racer_51
Minardi

Scott Speed
Heiki Kovalainen
[Neel Jani]

Speed and Liuzzi for sure since Red Bull have brought Minardi,
Kovalainen could easially get better testing for higher teams such as BAR.

Woooo Uber-post...

P.S. I dont think blake is gonna be too happy about the fact that Button is staying lol

What the hell? I hope BAR make Button pay every cent of that money!

Well at least Williams will be $25m better off, and they will probably have Webber and Nico driving for them. Good for Williams, Button - you are a knob.[/biased rant]

 Well I suppose this can now make other drivers think they can do the same, yes its getting rediculous but hey Button has balls for standing by his opinion I guess.

Button has no balls. he is a little boy that doesn't know how to honor a contract that HE instigated the signing of.

Sad, sad, sad!

Nah i mean for standing up against Frank Williams and not letting down, not many people in F1 would do that. Yes he signed a contract but we all make the odd mistake... or 2 in Button's case..

Standing up against Sir Frank? Are you kidding me. Button, and his management and BAR for that matter, tried everything they could to wiggle out of the contract. I bet Sir Frank figured he would be better off with the money to buy more Cosworth engines next season.

Ya we all make mistakes but Button's was pathetic. First last year signing with Williams and then basically flipping his finger to BAR then we Williams failed this seaosn he did it again but at the same time he opens his big mouth passing judgement on F1 and other drivers when he really doesn't have much to stand on as far as passing judgement.

I'm sorry but Button's conduct the past 2 seasons has been pathetic, childish and sad.

lol. Flipping his finger.

I can just picture a popous little English kid flippin' a big garage of workers the finger and walking off in a huff.

I don't agree with what Button did. Obviously isn't a man of his word so I don't think I could trust him.

SO what are the seats that are still avilable :1 BMW driver? who eles?

Technically there are the following seats open still.

#2 @ Williams (Roseberg, Pizzonia, ???)
#2 @ BMW (I really can't see them sticking with JV)
#1 & #2 at RBR USA (though Speed/Liuzzi are all but confirmed)
#1 & #2 Midland (Though Ant Davidson and Albers are in the press alot)

Williams: Webber should be there so its really only one seat available.

BMW: Hiedfeld is confirmed for next year and I think JV has a 'contract' but we all know that means s**t all...

RBR USA: Yeah Speed and Liuzzi, no challenge what so ever.

Midland: Monteiro is in with a shout too.

So we just have the Midland seat to fill up on the list.

If either Monteiro or Davidson get it then I wont complain, both deserve it.

Lol would be nice because then i can say i could be related to a F1 driver..
