What? Your comment in no way relates to what I was saying. :odd:

You said that SRF slows you down. It doesn't. Simple.

Srf is a waste of time because when I use srf on and off,the handling doesn't change but your time would change.so,why would you use srf when you can shave your time without using it.most loobies don't use srf

None, since release day ... tried only ABS 1 the 1st time I drove in GT5, turned it off after 2 laps as it felt like brake assist. Spent the 1st 6 months to adapt to no ABS, never looked back again :D

Wow Ridox, as you know theres a growing community of ABS 0 users now, but from day 1 ? that must of been a lonely start to GT5 if you ever wanted to do a ABS 0 only race !!

Not really lonely, I often raced online with other racers, ABS or not or if they use other aids, doesn't matter for me, it helped me to train my no ABS driving when getting close to other cars, whether braking hard into a corner, passing or going 2 wide.

It was very rare back in the day to find like minded drivers, I think I only met 2 or 3 no ABS drivers in the first year playing online, first 2 months was hard when racing online, often making mistakes, and I usually use near stock car against mostly highly tuned cars.

Racing with comfort/sports tires room was a good practice to get better, I could get into 2 such rooms a week if I was lucky :( and when I host the room myself, nobody stays long enough for a second race :(, It's different now, more and more people get into lower grip tire and no ABS :)

1. SRF significantly alters the driving characteristics of the car as it gives you more grip. That means you can throw the car into corners way too fast and with way too much lock on and get out like you hadn't.

2. I'm not suggesting that you should use SRF. I never use SRF. I was just pointing out that SRF doesn't make you slower, as you had posted.

Same for me,i should have quoted you earlier 👍

I use driving line, ABS set to 1 and will throw on some traction control for big HP- RWD cars every once in a while.

Don't know why there is so much online hate for driving line, I never try to follow the line, I just use it as a reference for braking. If I have raced a track a lot with one car (grinding) then I switch DL off, but will always have it back on for any new car or track I try.

Those online who won't allow driving line on have the dumbest, most contradictory reasons for not allowing it; "It doesn't do anything"- well fine, if it doesn't let me turn mine on, you can leave yours off "but then you would have an unfair advantage." really? how? you just said it did nothing, but now if you turn it on and I decide to use it and you don't, that somehow is an unfair advantage????

My friends usually race with either no aids or only abs 1 with sports hard or less, so I usually mix it up between those two.
