Everyone has to register before they can drive. It is really important that they understand the rules 1st hand by reading them and not just getting the basics from someone they know.

Sorry to have entered in the setup of the car, but I'll be honest, I bought the F1 and forgot GT5 ... lol
I had the car tuned for Sarthe and the only adjustment I made was to the level of aerodynamics and gearbox, not stirred in weight can trust ... just see my poor race...

Again I apologize and did not happen back...

Shouldn't biffy get a penalty for changing twice for soft tires? And also I had to wait till lap 7 to change to hard tires when I had damage lost a huge amount of time in this phase.

supra you can fix damage when ever you want you didn't have wait until lap 7 you just can't change tire compound until pit window is open. Also I wouldn't worry about biffy if he has made mistake and not changed to the correct tires then he will get a penalty just like anyone else would.

Ok I get you my mistake

What, for changing tyres on lap 2 or 3 or whatever it was? I don't think I even need to answer that. I'm not going to change to hards before the first pitstop am I?

My vote is for SS Route 5.

aslong as you change tire compound during the pit window and use all 3 tire compounds. you can pit for a new set of tires at anytime if you really wanted but the fact that it takes 30+sec to do a pit stop it would be pointless unless you have damage. So if you get damage it's really a jugdement call on wheather you think the damage will cost your more or less time than pitting. Example if I have engine damage I will pit anything else I will try make it to pit window.

Vote - Tokyo

Exactly. I already had some damage because of a bump from Supra on the first lap, but it was only minor which I could live with, the next incident gave me engine damage so I was hardly going to wait until lap 7 just to pit.

New rules added/adjusted. Mainly for Special Stage.
Vote closing soon by the way. It's Daytona so far...

8.6 - Teams will be given an accumulated points total from their 2 best drivers points. |

8.9 - 75% completion requirement (8.3) does not count in the SS. |
8.9.1 - If you qualify for round 2 then the lowest place you will get will be 8th. If you qualify for round 3 then the lowest place you will get will be 4th. Even if you disconnect during that round. |

10.11 - Damage will be set to light.|

Tokio 👍

Just to draw things a bit...

I have a dough about the special stage, we have to use the accumulated weight penalty or go with the default weight(1120)?

What happens If you get took out by someone and don't make it in to the next round because of it ?.

Personally I think if you take someone out or cause a crash by dangerous driving I think you shoud lose 5 points and they be given to the driver who got took out.

interesting question and I agree we need to think of some kind of predefined penalty system to encourage everybody to keep it clean and fair...

^^ don't think the penalty weight counts for the SS

so.... tokyo 5 votes, daytona 5 votes.... what's it gonna be?

Edit:
Biffy voted SS route 5. What's your vote on these two tracks?

So Daytona Road Course it is.
I want the approx. times of the rounds to be:

More than 8 drivers
Qualifying - 20mins
Round 1 - 20mins (fastest first)
10min break
Round 2 (top 8) - 15mins (reverse grid)
5min break
Round 3 (top 4) - 10mins (reverse grid)

8 drivers or less
Qualifying - 20mins
Round 1 - 30mins (fastest first)
10min break
Round 2 (top 4) - 20mins (reverse grid)

If someone could work out how many laps we need for each round that would be a real help.
I think we can have a rolling start on that track too so no need for formation lap.

After a quick test, laps are around 1'45.xxx so

30min = +- 17 laps

20min = +- 11 laps

On softs tires...

EDIT: You can't have a rolling start on the road course version JT, only in the speedway one...

Room Close

Are we going to use different tyre compounds in each of the 2 or 3 races?

Is it confirmed we don`t use any ballast in the special event?
