Hey Lars, I've been on and off on GT5P and would like to request a car I don't believe I've ever seen you tune and one of my personal favourites to drive. I will of course test it if you like before releasing it, I don't mind either way, I just want a car I can jump into and have a play for an hour or so seeing as I'm so busy at the moment with exams and other games.
So, I'd like a Jaguar XK tune for 650PP Suzuka please, the Jag could probably go as low as 550PP so perhaps some testing to see which PP-class is more competitive for it may be needed (I can't remember off hand which its closest to).

I'm not bothered if it doesn't max out to 650 or if its too slow in 550, I love this car and I enjoy the challenge of racing it to a good finish regardless of how badly beaten it can be.

Quess I'm rusty but i still have the last F430 tune for Suzy 650 and the best I can do so far is 2.10s any help??? PLEASE PLEASE I so want to run this car everywhere I can.:dopey:

That tune will run 2'05's and a 2'04 with practice. ;)

Hey, can you make a Nissan Skyline V-spec II tune for Fuji 600pp?

Thanks.

This car feels more at home at HSR than it does at Suzuka, but I still managed to give it a bit of DC Love, and it's pretty fun to drive. :) With Dutch Customs Approved brakes and a special custom gearbox, this should be an absolute blast around Suzy. Of course, it can't keep up with the faster cars, but if you want something different, this is your ride! As always, have fun and let me know what you think of it. 👍

I was supposed to make this one for 600PP Fuji, but I misread the request and created one for 650PP Suzuka. Anyway, this car is razorsharp, I managed to dial out most of the understeer, making this car a competitor around Suzuka. The testing fairies tell me that 2'06s are possible. And don't worry, the 600PP Fuji version is still in the works. :) As always, have fun and let me know how it handles! 👍

My list of tunes wouldn't be complete without a 350Z in it, now would it? Basically, this setup is exactly the same as the Dutch Customs Cup tune, adjusted to the PP level and a new final gear. Still smooth as ever, the testing fairy told me that a 2'05.9 is very much possible with this baby. It's maximum PP is 649, so a spot on the start of the grid is guaranteed. ;) As always: have fun and let me know what you think of it! 👍 Here's the setup:

Testing fairy, You been drinking again?

Good job on the Z. Feels great, ran a 2'05.950 within 5 laps, there is a little more there still. :sly:

Keep those great RWD tunes coming. 👍

I'll keep 'em coming, still in the works are the XK, the 599, and the R34 for 600PP Fuji.

Oh BTW, I just counted the number of tunes on page 1: I counted 117 tunes. :sly:

Feel the need for something different? Tired of running the same old cars over and over again? Well, this just might be the tune for you! It's British, it's sexy, it's sounds awesome! The Jaguar XK Coupe can most definitely hold its ground against most of the cars, with 2'06s being doable (according to the head testing fairy). Smooth as silk, sharp as a razor. Anyway, enough talk, up to the setup! As always, have fun and let me know what you think of it! 👍

Thanks a lot for the XK tune Lars, as I've already said. Its excellent and I already have had 2 awesome races with it online, with it only being blown away by cheeky AWD cars, it seems it can hold its own against the rest of the RWD cars though 👍
The only adjustment I made was the steering angle to 35 as I use a controller and I prefer a smooth steering style rather than twitchy but thats all.

Thanks for the nice feedback, Ardius. Glad you like it. :) Steering angle is hard to judge since it's a rather personal setting. For wheels you usually want it to be rather high so you don't have to steer a lot and the wheel is accurate enough for a higher angle. But on a pad, anything from 30 to about 40 feels good to me, so just pick a value yourself. 👍

BTW, May 16th 2009, this shop will celebrate its first birthday. :) Keep watching this space. ;)

Yes, the one Ferrari that never made it into the Dutch Customs Tuning Shop is finally here! I used to call this car 'The understeering pile of poo', but not anymore. ;) DC Engineers worked night and day and came up with the following tune. The head testing gnome told me that a 2'06.5 is very much possible with it. As always, have fun and let me know what you think! 👍 Up next are the R34 for 600PP Fuji and the RX8 for 650PP Suzy.

Hi Lars :) Fuji 600PP Expert is a nice race for STI and R8. So if you want to make any tunes for those cars I think it would be nice. S3 is the fastest here I think.

Great job on the 599 Lars, only had a few laps in free run as always. :sly: But I was really impressed on its speed and handling, a nice little bit of lift off oversteer really helps you get it tucked into the turn, very adjustable. And it looks and sound awesome too. Keep those fine tunes rolling out. ;)

👍

Just wanted to say that I'm using your M3 tune for the Suzuka boys night out event. Changes are R1s (obviously) and upped power. I also changed front camber a bit.

It is hard to imagine that I once (in race event 02) thought this car slow and cumbersome to drive. It's just an easy drive, very predictable and reasonably quick. It's better with R3s but R1s are OK.

I am doing mid/high 1'06s but can clearly see at least another half second.

Thanks for the feedback, I really don't understand why the M3 is so underrated, it's an absolute blast to drive and fast too. :)

I was running your XK tune last night and had a BLAST. The tune is great, very good lift off oversteer and very stable through those high speed corners like Turns 1&2 and the Spoon. I absolutely love this car, razor sharp tune, good speed(just about kept up with the Clio's) and the sound of that V8 is a beauty

Thanks for the 599, will try that next, keep up your great work 👍

I use the M3 vs. the clios and I can keep up if I don't screw up. I love the M3.

The Mazda Atenza, or Mazda 6 as we like to call it in Europe, is a bit of a boring family car, right? Wrong! The DC engineers took it to the tuning shop and created a high performance monster! Understeer? Never heard of it! Just point and it goes. Created especially for WRS 27, let me know what you think of it and have fun! 👍
