I don't know what is more annoying, the fact that there was no mention of TV coverage of the Sony event, Geoff Knightly doing the Microsoft limbo, or Adam Sessler. I guess Sessler and his annoying voice wins out on my poll.

Christ, I miss G4.

I just set my DVR timers, NO SONY event "listed", in the guide. Just that other console. Maybe they will air it during the E3 All Access Live. And Spike is only doing Monday coverage!!! Geoff is so incredibly irritating!!! Naturally, G4 isn't doing anything gaming. It's a waste of HD bandwidth now.

Adding insult to injury, we're taking my son to the dentist, his appointment is at 1. We'll be driving home when the SONY event is starting. Hopefully I can have a constant 4G connection on the way home :).

I do get to stop at New Holland Brewing and get my growler filled with something tasty :win:

MS: - 9:30AM PST
EA: - 1:00PM PST
Ubisoft: - 3:00PM PST
Sony: - 6:00PM PST

All of those are in those broadcast timeframes so should be all live.

I hope it's on TV (especially Sony's) even though spike's listing doesn't show it.

That is not their tv broadcast schedule. 6pm (or 3pm for me) is "E3 All Access Live". Wanna see a picture of my guide? Like the rest of us, you hope that time slot will be for SONY. After the EA broadcast, there is 1/2 hour of All Access Live, and that's it for E3 2013.

We'll be taking my son to the dentist Monday at 1 (eastern), I can tap into my DVR and watch. By time SONY is set to take the stage, we will be on our way home. Hopefully I can keep a constant 4G connection. And we have to stop at New Holland Brewing to full my growler :)

Probably the biggest E3 in 10 years and the TV coverage is anorexic!!!

Perhaps seeing a picture would help clear things up. I know that Viacom is pushing the XBO hard, and it clearly shows in their TV coverage. And GameTrailers is indeed owned by Viacom...

He's right though, the TV coverage scheduling fits the conference timeframe perfectly. So I think there's a chance of Sony's press conference appearing on TV.

He's making a statement as if it is a matter of fact. Which it is not, unless he can show us a Tweet or Spike's TV schedule. Sure, the "All Access Live" time slot following Xbox makes sense. But, the only specific event Tribune Media is providing to carriers is Xbox and EA. There is zero mention of SONY and Ubisoft. Perhaps it's a contractual thing that Spike can't advertise the SONY & Ubisoft events to show favoritism to Xbox and EA?

Aww man that's some BS! I'd much rather see sony's conference on TV! Why not just show all four conferences on TV?!

Dude, you see what time they're going to be streaming on their friggin app? At the end of the night!!! No respect whatsoever. I wonder how many millions M$ paid Viacom to do this. Ugh, this bull spit pisses me off!!!

Is sony going to be livestreaming their conference on PSN?

From the article I linked:

The “E3 All Access Live” team will broadcast from its own E3 studio overlooking the Los Angeles Convention Center and will feature the industry’s top press conference events...

I had a flip see on my guide, Squat for Sony and Ubisoft. Last bit of coverage is 4pm Central for 1/2 hour, and that is it.

EDIT: I should make mention that in the program description, they only mention the XBO and EA conferences.

So does that mean Sony and ubisoft's will be shown on TV??

No. The SONY event is at 6pm pacific, that's 9pm eastern! At 9pm, Spike is showing back to back the movie "Dodgeball". The GameTrailers app will carry it live. As will multiple Internet sources. Spike's TV coverage ends at 5:30pm (eastern).

The biggest E3 in 10 years and it has the most inept coverage since E3 started getting major coverage.

Of course Spike will flounder the coverage. Microsoft cut them a big fat check. It is this kind of BS that makes me wish that my most respected game insider, Annoyed Gamer, would jump ship from Gametrailers to hosting his show on YouTube. He would say double the nasty things about Microsoft if he was independent from Viacom.

Maybe next year then.

I think next year will be Nintendo's big year. Either they will make a traditional console to truly compete on the merits of their games. Or, they will get out of the hardware business and focus on software, like SEGA did.

I may be completely wrong, but it's reasonable. Nintendo's momentum, and probably stock, is not climbing.

I'm sure it'll be streamed on the net guys, and if you can't watch the live stream there will be a recording of it afterwords. In fact, Sony usually puts theirs up on the PS Store for download.
