I really dont get the guys defending broken and poor economics in games.
Of course we have to live with it, but games nowadays can patch everything with ease. So why not make PD aware of their flaws and maybe, if we're loud and clear enough, they fix it in some way!?
It's just a discussion to help the game get better...
So, why cant we do this without the typical "if you dont like it, dont play it" respond types!? Those Baby answers wont help anyone.
Yeah, responses like
most of the ones in this thread won't help anyone either.
It seems many people fail to grasp that all the evidence points to PD
wanting to make some cares virtually unobtainable - at this stage at least - this is clearly their decision. Suggestions about increased payouts or decreasing prices are pointless, it's not like PD don't
know how to make the cars more attainable, they just don't want to.
It's not like it's a bug, glitch or mistake, it's not objectively a game breaker, so why should they change it? You might not like responses like "if you don't like it, don't play it..", but the fact is, that is everyones right... and one of three courses of action available. The other two being simply accepting it and being patient, and grinding/rubber-banding.
I'm not saying the game's perfect, top priority should be giving some parity in payouts between game modes, and I see no reason not to introduce selling free cars. I'm less fussed about increasing payouts in general, or making things cheaper. I used the rubber band trick to get a 20,000,000 car, realised it's a bit of a waste of time for me, and have gone back to playing the game as I have every other Gran Turismo.
