Karsten, can you just confirm by bhp, as i was pretty slow compared with other cars on the long straights .
they could come past without drafting me .
I know there are no huge long straights at silverstone, but if i practice leading up to the race i would rather know what bhp i will be running as it may have an effect on the gear each corner uses and my training will possibly be in vain ?

Did you do an oil change/body restore before the race?

oh my i feel outgunned too in straights if you run some laps at silverstone take a look at the car's begaviour since it might have dramatically changed for the better and/or faster

what concerns me is the total lack of torque; it'll be a killer in most tracks, but things might even up... also IIRC IS350s brakes where made in heaven by a speciall class of angels called "brakionists"

Weird had 307bhp now in the brz. Did restore body rigidity and overhaul engine before i joined the race lobby. Did 2 laps warm up just over 1 lap qualy and 18 race laps. So total driven distance 286km and the oil already started to get bad.

Anyone know if the oil should get bad after so short distance?

What was the start bhp in the BRZ?

I did the same, started at 333bhp and ended with 326 so lost 7bhp during the race

Ok, then i know the oil will run bad fast, and that it happens to all, and not just me



Did test the Garayia on Silverstone and got a 2.06.119 and that lap i lost .200 on last sector against the time from the lap before. The car seems a little more stable now, It was fast before the patch but now it is easier to be consistance.
My conclusion after a very short test is that it don't gonna need any balancing.

Did 2 laps in the rx-7 lap 1, 2.05.858. lap 2, 2.05.116

But i could not get under 2.07 with the BRZ but that was just **** behind the wheel

Few notes guys.
Kept on trying to watch the replay, and eventually it ran, confirming ny memory as terrible, as thought i led till first pit stop at end of lap 3 but now see and remember on lap 2 Ekke and Gippone coming past me on Mulsanne but then both getting tangled and going off at arnage 2 corners later .

Also when i turned on the game yesterday it had already updated itself ? seems a few of you had problems updating but mine did it on its own, never knew a thig about it , its got Ver. 1.03 in top left corner so must have all been done in my sleep.

Note for Ekke, i dont know how you do that, i did 40 laps at silverstione yesterday and agree that it does feel lass twitchy, but best i could do was 208.5 - you must have kers or something, i dont know what to do this is gonna hurt , like 3 seconds a lap, you will be coming past me about 4 times in the race on monday , so i will keep left just so you know, i am gonna have more laps tonight using manual shift, see if i can lap a bit slower so you come past 5 time Ekke, Karsten is right its insane .

What i wanted to do at sarthe was run the inters til lap 9 or 10 then pit for hards and finish the race but it never seems to work as planned

Yeah tyre choice is open, just a case of seeing what best fits considering wear/conditions.

Im fairly sure the bug only effects racing tyres Skeng another reason why you will notice little variance. (Assuming BTCC still use non racing tyres)

if anyone fancies a unofficial long run with the gt300 spec room settings , we can put up a room with a race to say start at 7.30 pm tonight ? we can have it for 43 laps , we dont have to worry about times so much, more about getting aquainted with running with other cars on track that are also running distance and also get used to pitting
and tyre deg etc .
Just a thought if anyone is interested and time of start , let me know ?

I'll be down for that, not sure if I'll be down for doing a full race but I'll be putting a decent amount of laps in.
