Hated this track before I put in over 3 hours of practice. Now I love it. Racing has helped me take my mind off of things.

I think more here than anywhere else you shouldn't really worry about your lap time, you should focus on having a clean lap.
Yes the time helps but you can lose so much time here by having a off and if you lose focus your times are going to be very slow.
If you can run consistent 9mins that will be enough to finish quite high imo (3rd-5th)

Practicing the 'ring right now. It's awesome! I'm really looking forward to it. I don't like the GP strecke, but the Nordschleife is awesome. Please don't give me a warning for not leaving room - there simply isn't any.

Overtaking is an issue here so people need to not just go for something they might pull off, you need to be 100% confident your move is going to come off and the person your overtaking will leave room as it's so narrow it will wipe you both out.

hey guys im sorry for the wait. i was practicing with logic, jorn and flanked yesterday when i was disconected. i thought it was normal but it said 'disconnected from the GT server' and i couldn't sign into PSN that has never happened before

i have to warn all other drivers , Jorn touched upon this the other day , that after 30 laps i still have not yet managed to go around the entire track without crashing at last once, either in a small way or large way , this is rather a shame as my best time is 9.24 still way slower than a good time . and pushing on this track just means more crashes per lap for me .
I dont know if its just me using the ps3 joypad , but its going to be very hard for me to make room for anyone overtaking me , although i doubt anyone will be behind me to need to do that, i go around the track, and just about keep the car within the white lines most of the time , and that not easy , so if anyone is behind me looking to overtake , i can really say that you are taking a huge risk , and it wont seem as if i am making room for you when alongside, but trust me , its really just about all i can do to keep myself on track.

i disagree mate
it is a great track for racing, it just requires a different approach two pass; no a strong attack but a costant pressure to cause an errore or waiting pacefully to the many passing points. and yes, there's lots of passing points.also not a track where you keep running for 50laps for finding one tenth of a second in a turn...
it's a total chance of paradigm and it requires mature drivers and racing. i trust alla of you guys and i'm sure this race is gojng to be one of the most epic races and rounds we had so far.
just hope i won't lose too much points to ekke, lol

i was going to suggest you make it 9 laps instead of 8 , as everyone has fuel for 4 laps and i think most can also get 4 lasp on soft tyres ? so maybe all will be on 1 stop at the nd of lap 4 ? by having race 9 laps this will make it possible for other strategy options ? jus a thought ?i disagree mate

9 laps would be great if there wasn't a 20-minute-qualy. Any ideas how to speed up the qualy in favor of the race itself?

@masterplan, in BTCC we have a qualy/race setting. so when karsten starts the race, we have 10 mins qualy first. it's like seasonal, where the game puts everyone at the start of the lap. we will be crowded at first but as long as we spread out it will be fine
