Seems like a few people think they were aiming for 3-5th!

Gutted I had my issue and can't see the reply, I felt my tyres were in pretty good shape tho so I would have been interested to see them against the others and from what I can remember I wasn't to far back.

Anybody on tonight? My only 2 days to practice are tonight and tomorrow (maybe Monday) as I'm off to Newcastle Friday morning for a Stag weekend and will be back sometime Monday....

Was really a great race!

I got pole only a tenth of a second from ekke! (maybe less) He was pushing a lot!
The race was straight for me: pushing as much as possible to gain advantage and pit 4 times.
I was worried about Skeng strategy because I know he's a hell of a pilot... but then I passed him a couple of times during my pit stops and so I was slowly calming down that my strategy was ok anyway.

I'm sorry for what happened to him, in the same situation I think that I would have gone crazy

Game is not over yet... what happened to priesty is making me worry because I have a T500 too...

Up to Nurb 24h guys! :nervous::nervous:

No, true took to much on and couldn't hold his inside line, drifted into me and knocked me into the sand.

Can't see video i'll look at it later today, i watched it twice yesterday night and on my replay i didn't see even a touch ?_?

Can other drivers take a look on their replay and tell me what they see?

I'll try to be there i have to shave a min lol

Great race guys i did preform pretty good with only a couple of times going wide and sliding in the grass, but whiteout loosing control. Had a decent pace most laps and just hoped my 4 pit strategy would work. After awhile i saw the possibility to get a podium place. Gprili did a great race and was 15-25 sec in front of me majority of the race Tried to hunt him down with no success, but managed to keep up with him.
I'm truly sorry for Skeng, think it had been a great fight for 2nd place last couple of laps :(

Ekke I went on the sand ONCE in all race (lap 44) and I've lost 8 seconds.... I was shocked :nervous:

Tonight I might be on line too to test with you guys... My wife has to work tonight so....

Thanks for all the kind words fellas, I really appreciate them. I will be there on Monday as long as the good lord sees fit to let me.

Congrats GPrili on the win...

just strange , dont know really as i looked to have good enough consistent pace and a couple of options to aim for 4th realistically with a 2 stop and i had practiced it a lot too. Running around near the back on the first stint was fine as i could get 20 21 laps on my tires at 2.23 1.22 if i didnt push really hard , after everyone stopped around lap 15 i was guessing everyone would be doing 3 stops and me 2 stops also i would have an extra 6 laps without the bug ,and i could still push after my pitstop with mediums and knew i could still do 1.23 1.24 that others would be doing and everyone else would be pushing on softs after their first stops and also the tyres i knew wore out so much quicker after the first stint . Also i was sure it would rain a bit, as in all the practice races i have done with only 20% weather it always rained for 10 laps and helped the tyres to go a bit longer so i thought i would be ok. But i made 2 stupid mistakes on my second stint and spun, just lack of concentration as trying to lap at 1.23 1.24 , and i guess they cost me 30 seconds in total , and may have meant my tyres wore out even quicker. so i still expected to be in 4th or close to it when the midfield stopped for their 2nd stops , but just about moved up to 5th , then i realised that i was going to be running out of tyres near the end , so decision time , either push and pit for softs or back off even more and make them last , and i made the wrong choice by keeping going, and ran out of tyre with 3 laps to go , so had to pit anyway , so bad judgement on my part really .

I'll a little shocked to beat you, think I pitted around lap 12 or 11.
Pit cost me alot of time really, think filling the car back up may of had something to do with it lol.

Then the mistake with the full fuel was just going to show, how bad of a mistake it really was.
Lap times dropped from 1:21/22 to 1:24/25 :grumpy:

Car was a real pig to drive, at least 2nd pit stop It not need refilling :irked:
Less fuel new RS tyres on, car heart came back.

But also did the fact on it was going to be hard to finish the race, with just one more pit stop!
Had to pit on lap 45, it was going to be tyres or fuel.

So that gave me 13 laps left :nervous:
Stuck to RS and but I little more fuel in than needed.
Start of last lap front right only 3 bars left, fuel well that was ok.

Caught up with Ekke and qpirili doing there yeah we won and finished tour of the track.
On start of bends 2, 3 and 4.
True blue I think got them on the fast staight.
Braking for the slow right of the back staight I had to give to early.
This saw Ture blue right up my back side, with well 3 turns left :nervous:

Gave blue no way past on the left really slowed him down.
Now just the right and left for the straight, I know blue was thinking I'll have him on the straight.

Dam car was now pulling right with right tyre on it way out.
Looked back and there true blue trying to get speed on the green stuff :dunce:

If not for the 1st pit stop error I may of got 4th, but if everyone race went right.
Then I may of got 10th, who knows well I got 5th :gtpflag:

Real sorry about your news of your uncle m8 and RL alway come before online racing dude.
I'm happy to see other Rossi fan out there really ;)

such a strange race for me. then driving with extra bhp threw me off guard. things were looking good, but id make silly mistakes, i'd then make more trying to make up time. then my dad walked in front of tv 1st corner with bad tyres, so i went off big time lool@CptMadBean. on the final lap, ekke and giprilli slowed down, 1st i thought they'd ran out of fuel. i knew my tyres were better than yours so i pushed really hard, i had to overtake them both at the S corners lol. as we came up to the chicane i knew the only way i could get you was a good exit and get your slip, but due to little grip and trying to hard, i braked too late and couldn't turn lool but well done m8 :) also another rossi? well, ok, you could be pedrosa lol but no simoncelli?
sorry to hear skeng, i cant understand how angry and gutted you must bebut WOO HOO nurb next!!!

Pretty boring as this seemed more like a F1 race with people saving tires and to many different strategies.

Liked the comment about a Skeg engine failure.

Was hoping to see when my wheel died as I don't have the reply! :(

I don't how to save tyres, I go as fast as I can for as long as I can lol

Seemed to be the way to go tho tbh!

I was trying for 23s with plenty of throttle lift with was making the tires last half a lap longer.

Anyway you ran on Nurb yet? Had a couple if races with Karsten there yesterday, I'm hoping to be involved in the 3rd podium place battle. :)

No, I hate that track. The grass is my best friend everytime I race there, I'll be on to do a lot of practice before Monday though to try and get a half decent finosh

well, i had a run round with the guys after the race on Monday . i dont know the track that well , again will have to practice , i know its an old track however i can reassure everyone that all the crash barriers around almost every corner on the whole track seem to be working as i tested most of them at high speed and none seemed to give way at all.

Seems dead today!?!

Anybody about tonight? I'll be running some laps again, might even consider a race distance run....

On a side note, something to consider @azidahaka is weather, do you think it might be better to keep this race dry? It's one of the harder tracks and adding rain into the mix is only going to make it harder.

I'm cool either way but worth a thought!

what sort of time will you be on Pr

Karsten can you please tell us some details about race distance and weather conditions for Nurb 14h?

Is nurb 14h a watered down version? Lol

Talking seriously, this is the plan for the race:

8 laps, start at ingame time 11:00
Weather will ba again as close to real as always, no need to bend a rule (and on a side note forecasts say it'll be clear).

We'll have a bit longer qualy session, 20 minutes, this is the reason for 8 instead of 9 laps.

PLEASE TRY NOT TO BE LATE! With such long time we can't remake checks, so please all try to be in time or better a tad early.

Also on flying lap be smart and avoid crashing innto others or slowing down other racers; it's of no benefit to anyone!

Fine by me!

Altho confining weather then is pointless as Apricot Hill you said dry early in the week but by race day it was raining but as you said everybody practiced in the dry it was left as dry.

Either confirm it and keep it as it is or leave to real life upto Monday at 7pm so we only know then (unless we check the weather ourself)
