Horrible luck for our team tonight , i know my strategy was a gamble but i had 2nd place or 3rd place for sure tonight and then on lap 49 look what happens , championship is over for me now

But look on the bright side I got 5th place not 6th, plus only lapped by 1st and 2nd place and not 3rd.
Still m8 looked like a bug wrecked a great finish

eventful race. sorry about you misfortune skeng, but such things happen and might strike others too... one drop score in season 2 soit won't be a problem...
ona side note you didn't end last for you topped both priesty and bakemister that was already more than 8 laps down...

Yep, was going for 3 stops 14-15/28-29/42-43 so wasn't pushing to much early doors so reckon I would have been aiming for 3-5.
Look forward to it all day then bang, over so quickly
Glad my wheel seems ok now but is a worry, will have to keep the heating down next time as I think it must have over heated

That could not work. Even if you were just one second slower, that would mean one minute loss, which is more than two pit stops.

Try turning down the force feedback in GT6 settings.

I'm surprised at true and filo's race, they looked very strong early, true attacking me for many laps and filo getting up to second place, yet vanished along the race... Asking too much from tires? Wrong strategy?

Flanked i took a look at lap 2 accident with true and i can't see anything at all. Maybe some lag on your part? It just looks like you braked late went wide on dirt side of track and no more

just strange , dont know really as i looked to have good enough consistent pace and a couple of options to aim for 4th realistically with a 2 stop and i had practiced it a lot too. Running around near the back on the first stint was fine as i could get 20 21 laps on my tires at 2.23 1.22 if i didnt push really hard , after everyone stopped around lap 15 i was guessing everyone would be doing 3 stops and me 2 stops also i would have an extra 6 laps without the bug ,and i could still push after my pitstop with mediums and knew i could still do 1.23 1.24 that others would be doing and everyone else would be pushing on softs after their first stops and also the tyres i knew wore out so much quicker after the first stint . Also i was sure it would rain a bit, as in all the practice races i have done with only 20% weather it always rained for 10 laps and helped the tyres to go a bit longer so i thought i would be ok. But i made 2 stupid mistakes on my second stint and spun, just lack of concentration as trying to lap at 1.23 1.24 , and i guess they cost me 30 seconds in total , and may have meant my tyres wore out even quicker. so i still expected to be in 4th or close to it when the midfield stopped for their 2nd stops , but just about moved up to 5th , then i realised that i was going to be running out of tyres near the end , so decision time , either push and pit for softs or back off even more and make them last , and i made the wrong choice by keeping going, and ran out of tyre with 3 laps to go , so had to pit anyway , so bad judgement on my part really .
