hey guys sorry the wind has been really bad here so my internet was down
to do with the interviews, i've finished my mock exams today (woo hoo) so more free time. i know i should interview skeng and giprilli but im saving that for a special before the final round lol
as with the nurb, keep the nordschleife! i know my name is dirty nurb king, but on gt5 i used to race dirty nurb with friends. i basically know that track better than the roads outside my house and the only one im looking forward too lol XD

i'm stuck with a best of 1.21.7 damage control race for me lol

Think your trolling with that, I managed a 21.7 within 2 laps in the Mazda!

Admittedly it is one of the harder cars to control here as there are a few of camber corners and the elevation changes are but if an issue

BRZ felt really nimble here tho, great change if direction and great turbo sound, only ran at 315 with it but was competitive

@priesty_lfc you managed that at race time? supposedly the grip changes with temperature... If so you're DA MAN for me lol

Also i think i have really overperformed so far in the season, i'm not that fast of a driver and the gap i get from @gippone shows :D

I try my best to stay in front of jorn and flanked; so far i managed mainly thanks to my race experience to say so; few mistakes, decent strategy, away from crashes :D

on some track i think that true blue and you pace was actually as fast as mine

just out of fun i took a look at Suzuka's 2013 results and lap times of the GT300 (they raced a perfectly fine weather/dry race we didn't); I understand cars we use are older it's just for fun lol

our Gprili had a race best of 2.04.6xx (no clue about pole time)

In the real world the fastest race lap was the one of the winners; 2.02.6 with a subaru BRZ, Second fastest on track was with a 2.04.6

qualifying lap was again brz with a 2.01.4xx

In 2011 pole was at 2.05.391

No just in practice, not sure what time if day it was.

My mrs is actually working nights starting Sunday so I should be on Sunday night for some last minute running!

And yeah I think from mist series we've been in were normally close together. I think being in front of the midfield pack at the start which you seem to be is a big help, you can escape the chaos that tends to happen early on and use the draft of Skeg/Gprill and fresh tires to get a good gap between the rest of us.

also i *might* start getting faster now that i'm getting used to the wheel. I'm sure season 2 will be a BLAST with power penalties!

We already run in tight groups for almost racelong, i magine doing the same for 1:20mins :)

BTW if anyone is interested to test them i'll reveal to all the 4 new cars considered for season 2... If all goes as i expect we might have a 8 car choice; 8 teams of 2 same cars each all different. also this way all should be able to find a car they like :) I would let the slowest drivers that will re-sign choose their cars first with the top in the standings choosing later

That warning thing sounds fair, next time I'll try to watch surrounding cars more carefully. ;)

Karsten you'll be way faster than me on Apricot, as I don't know that track very well and have virtually no time for traing with winter olympics, planning summer vacation and a lot of celebrating starting this weekend as I'll turn 30 next sunday. :)

Announcing weather for tomorrow's race.

Start will be with perfectly clear sky expected along the race is some clouds but rain shouldn't happen.

On a side note these are the first 2 sunny days in my city since last 3 weeks :D

Well that was pretty much a disaster but learnt a lot so that strategy is going out the window!

Would have preferred guaranteed rain but hey.

Gonna be tough either way but i think I know what in gonna run with..... 💡:nervous:

I'm looking forward to tonight, hopefully I can stay out of trouble in the opening lap and push on, I think my times are quick enough to have a good race

I think this one could be the best race so far for the season. Lap times are close and everyone has a different idea on strategy so it should be nice to see how it plays out

Since i have announced it it won't change but weather suddenly turned out for the very bad here in spite of all forecasts lol

I have an idea concerning how the race will go lol

But yes it'll be interesting!

IMPORTANT NOTE TO ALL DRIVERS! MINI DRIVER'S BRIEFING
*pit exit is dangerous! When coming out of it be careful and let incoming cars through!
*if you're lapped do not fight with cars ahead of you!
*do not enter crazy fights with worn out tires if your rival is on fresher or softer compound!

By this i mean that we're going to see at least 3 or 4 different strategies today; race will be decided by strategy and traffic. If your tires are gone and someone with fresh tires proceeds to overtake you be smart and understand that a crash benefits noone lol

As side notes:
Garaiyas take very different lines on turn 1,2 and the hairpin an brake points are very different. So whether you are driving one or fighting against onne be aware of that! The line is legitimate so let's just be careful all! (We noticed that yesterday right logic? ;) )

Be well aware of those around you, the track offers very few overtaking opportunities and the esses section can be really dangerous if one doesn't take note of other cars around, very so in first laps (jorn be careful lol)

Keep your cool when closely following a car in front of you expecially at the final chicane where dust from preceding cars can blind you (this is for me lol)

Be in time and no naps before race (filo? ;) )

As last words i never told clearly what are the penalties given after first warning so i'll list them

1warning nothing happens
2warnings driver won't take part in qualifying session and will start last position
3warnings best season score will be cut in half
4warnings 1 race stop
5warnings possible ban for the rest of the season

dont worry Karsten, i would not have tried that in the real race , just seeing what happened as it was practice

Maybe the randomness needs to be increased slightly ;)

Not really seen any issues with the exit but then again I'm not cane out with people around so ill bare that in mind.

I did notice the entry could be difficult tho as people could cut across in front if people going up the inside.

One of my favorite uncles passed away last week .....I am gutted and having a hard time with it. I have tried to get into GT6 or any other game for that matter but I just can't. Sorry guys but I am just not feeling it today
