@Animera Are you still running flags & penalties 'off', mech failures 'no'? Getting ready for 154 laps at road America in tri-nations.
Don't know after Patch 3, but before: surely not. Does not work. Tried it several times.Does the ps4 suspend game work very well for splitting up endurance races, I can never get the 4-6 hours to complete the race

Well, though a lot of people were asking for this feature, they are still discussing if it should be implemented or not. That's a real shame then, I'd love to do the longer races at 100% length but never get the chance. Anyone know if SMS are working on a mid race save feature?

Thanks, I was going to but did not get to it yet. I'm having too much fun racing in the rain for now...There was a fix for the suspend game crashes in 3.0 though. Just try it out to see if it works, doesnt have to be a long race. You can suspend the game in lap 3 of 5 too.
Put the ps4 into rest mode and come back to it when your readyDoes the ps4 suspend game work very well for splitting up endurance races, I can never get the 4-6 hours to complete the race
Solution: as soon as you re-enter: pause the game, disconnect/reconnect wheel and FFB is back. The problem with suspend mode, even if it works, is the wheel. It'll lose calibration once you return the PS4 back to life.

Yes. I had this happen several times before patch 2. Even bought a USB extension cable to be able to do the unplug/replug ceremony without getting out of my seat.Even if you unplug the wheel?
And if you leave it plugged, wouldn't this mess the calibration?
I've had this happen with Driveclub too, so it's not exclusively a pCARS issue. The unplugging technique should overcome it thoughThe problem with suspend mode, even if it works, is the wheel. It'll lose calibration once you return the PS4 back to life.
Finished the 12 hours Nordschleife GT Endurance, although I reduced it to 6 hours.
My engineer being very useful in the video below, after I requested a pit stop to change to wet tyres:
Bob's crazy passing move during his stint:
And me bringing the car home with 52 aero damage after bumping a back marker in the previous lap.
A good race though, with 1 hour of rain.
Next up, the WEC GT Championship, 6 races of endurance fun!
