That DTM clip qualifies as close racing?:odd: V8 Supercars are far closer in every round,:P not to mention PAPA and I have had racing like that DTM clip on Fuji Speedway plenty times, just ask him if you don't believe me.:cheers:
 
I believe you. I had a few good rounds on Fuji (though not with Paulie - stupid RX7 own tune grrr) but PAPA and I are neck and neck on DR with both the 550PP and 650PP races. - That's how I met him too:)

no - my stupid tune that I did, luring myself into a false belief that it was anything but rubbish, and then ditching it into a wall on the first lap of our first encounter at Fuji
 
Those 90´s DTM battles between Mercedes, Alfa and Opel would be awsome. I love the new Mercedes and Audi from the 2008 and 2009 season too. I hope to see them in GT5.
For some reason im in a complete DTM mood these days, but the truth is that i love all Touring Cars. This goes to DTM, BTCC, V8 Supercars, WTCC, etc.

In the last 2 games (GT3 and GT4) V8, ETCC/WTCC and BTCC were very badly represented. Better for DTM but with some disapointments. For example, in GT3 they featured the DTM Mercedes CLK and Opel Astra. Why not the Audi TT? At the time those were the 3 cars racing in DTM. Audi TT appeared later in GT4 but i believe it was, partially, because Playstation was sponsoring those cars by the time. On the other hand in GT4 PD gave us the same Astra and CLK from GT3 (2000 DTM season) when in the real championship the Astra was already replaced by Vectra and the Mercedes CLK from 2000 season (GT3) was replaced by the new CLK 2002/2003 and C Class in 2004. I rememeber at the time i was hoping to drive this cars in GT4 only to feel very disapointed for no new models.
I could say the same thing about other series cars like the Corvette C5R. In GT4 they gave us the same Corvette of GT3 and by the time, the C6R was already racing in ALMS if im not mistaken.

I can't wait to see these icons in full gt5 1080p glory :) (well the RX and NSX are in Gt5:Pro and i think they look great)
 
Mclaren F1 vs the Veyron know they did it on top gear this season, amazing the much older F1 hung with the Veyron so well. Love to recreate that drag race.

Silvia and to a lesser degree Fairlady Z TT are not in the same class as the other cars.

You want an R32 GT-R, or R33-GTR in there. Also Subaru WRX

The Acura/Honda supercar has been scrapped. This was announced shortly after Honda's withdrawal from F1.

I hope the LF-A is in the game that would be awesome 👍
