Using the Gt-One race car, you can achieve a speed of over 1300 mph on the test course. Get all the upgrades and the Stage 4 Turbo kit. Also, use super-soft tires. Go into the settings screen and set the Ride Height to 75 in the rear and front. Set the Toe Angle to -2 in the rear. Set the Stabilizers to level 1 in both the rear and front. Set the Limited-Slip Torque to 5 and the Limited-Slip Accel to 60 for the rear. Now, set the gear level to 48. Here is a list of what the gear ratios should be: 1st 2.132, 2nd 1.298, 3rd .803, 4th .648, 5th .497, 6th .403, and the final should be set to 3.5. Make sure to get the oil change for the HP increase. You should start flying down the road as soon as you come of the curve on the test course

Someone tell me if this works i read it somewhere but havent tried it out yet

Did you just figure this out?

Yes, as in leaving the track's boundries. Driving off the edge of the GT3 planet. Performing stunts of unnatural physics.

It was on the outskirts of Seattle that I managed to get the Escudo to a series somersalts.

Ive done this many times with the viper and GT-ONE car. its kind of fun. But Never have i done this with the Escudo.. i find that too hard to do with that car. Well with my settings:D

Ok I just did the Wheelie Trick Setting and I can't freaking stop from hitting the dang corners!!!!!! How in gods name do you not hit the freaking corners!!!!!!!!!

Well yeah. I just need to know how not to hit a corner going 260. If I could just not hit the corners my car would TAKE OFF!

If you want to see some wheelie action, sup up a Skyline and take it off road. It was so hilarious! I'd hit about 180mhp on a strait stretch, then hit a hill and be pointed at the sky until I hit a wall.

Moderation. You have to time the apex perfectly for a top speed record. Otherwise it should accelerate fast enough to pop the front end up before you come (hit) the next corner.

I was getting it to pop up at 230-233 mph.

i got the flying car problem with my spiced up LAncer 6 with rally tyres. if the edge of the map hadnt been above the wall i would of plunged to my death over the cliff.

I used the settings from last months Official PlayStation Magazine and it worked fine. Max speed was 881.3 mph.

My only problem now is I forgot to save the initial settings for the Escudo, so this car is pretty much useless unless on the Test Track.

Does anyone have the original settings?

:Poke:
Hi, any of you actually believe you're doin that kind of speed when you're riding wheelie with the Escudo? C'mon, get real.
What's happening is that you're riding on the rear edge (or whatever you call it) of the car with the rear wheels barely touching the ground. Obviously the wheels are spinning freely (front) (or almost freely [back]), and the speedometer reads that as the actual speed. Its a 4wd remember.

I won the escudo last night and tried it out on the amateur turbo race. Gee, I flied man. And the speedometer showed more than 800 km/h. But what do I see? The other cars had almost caught up with me!!!!

Try it out yourselves. Sorry I trashed that illusion. :D

Actually, I tried the Escudo-wheelie trick on all "Test Track" races and I almost lapped the Mazda 828 (?) race car.

I agree, the car can't be moving that fast, otherwise there'd be a sonic boom....hmmm...maybe for GT4? :)
