***Euro GT500 Championship***Race #3 Thread CLOSING, NEW 1 IS UP!!***

Well if race one more night/week i will get divorced... @ least if we race @ 20.00 GMT

:). If we drop all other series we´re in, then it will be 1
less race per week = more LOVE from Wife.

Here in Finland the hockeyplayers practice twice a´day, and have 3 games per week.
And they all got wifes that is some kind of Miss Finlands. Maybe we should have 3 races per week.:dopey:

Well i don't get €20.000 a month for playing so i guess my wife won't be out shopping more just because of my GT5 racing :)

Just wish I had more time to practice... Think I have found an okay setup even though i am not as quick on a single lap. Be happy with 17's for my race pace.

Just drove with Rickie a 40 lap Race.

Average laptime was 1´18.3xx if we dont count the pitstops (30 sec/stop).

BTW: Rickie had a false start and lost 3 sec.
In the end the difference was 2.6xx secs....

Pretty same laptimes....He never did catch my
slipstream in the whole Race.:)

Okay well thats about where I think I am as well so not too bad.👍 Btw Rickie I dont have much power either but you cant really sacrifice downforce much at this track.

False start - Amateur :sly:

i hvnt done any practice as i find it hard to get time to do so with the other series im heavily involved in but i like racing at the back/middle of the pack :sly: seems to be more action hehe

I think I will use that excuse as well Bert, I 'prefer' racing at the back of the field. You sorted a wheel out yet?

keyboard. You use the pad to those also...?
How about aiming.....? I think You use auto-aiming...:D

Track doesn't really favour the NSX. Infact, it doesn't really favour any GT500 car. Ideally we should of used another track, but at least this makes for any interesting race and pit strats.

True, did about 25 laps there today and oh well. 1.17.8** its really though.

Not an ideal race track for race cars, road cars... sure.

But hey, there are some race tracks in real life that are bumpy as hell, especially street circuits.

Next championship we should stick to real world race tracks though 👍

looking forward to tomorrow by the way

Chris

I think it s*cks that PD skipped so many great tracks :(
Examples:

Barcelona
Silverstone
Donington
Shanghai
Imola
Spa (ffs)

Some Swedish tracks:

Mantorp Park (old F2 track)
Anderstorp (F1 track)

IMO Trial Mountian is a great and fun track, the level of grip is ridiculus here. It has places for clean overtaking and thats the main thing. We raced here in my championship 2 weeks ago and I have to say it was one of the best races for me ever in this game. I'm racing with the Petronas, hope its as fast as the GTR my PB here was 1.15.1, hopefully the Lexus will be on pace.
