By the way, so now you can adjust how much you can turn your steering wheel? can you only do 180-200 degree steering for those race cars? Is there an 8 way view just like in the demo?

Excellent second update, amar. Very much appreciated and glad to hear how the Quick Tune is setup. Like yourself, I find this part of Prologue to hold much interest and think it will easily appeal to all varieties of players. It packs a bigger punch than GT4's Quick Tune, but is easily understood for newcomers.

Cockpit in the F1 is quite nice and accurate. Getting more excited for this game by the minute.

Good luck to your Heikki. I'm tipping Lewis for the victory (although I don't want to see it that way). Perhaps he was running light in Q3 and if that is to be true, I would like to see BMW get a moment in the spotlight. They deserve it.

Does Amar ever answer to any questions in this topic? Since i would like to know where the version of the game hes using comes from. I'm on the press release list of SCEE and should receive a review disc anywhere soon. But if Amar's version is a EU review disc, than i should send a mail to Sony to speed up ther sending process a little. Well Amar of you read this and you dont wanna make it public where it comes from (shouldn't know why) you can always send me a PM

Can tuning files be shared?

Can you set up your own online races? Can you specify individual cars or classes, tires, laps (1 - 99), and simulation?

What sort of "help" is there for those of us who are "tuning challenged" and can't tune ourselves out of a paper bag? (sort of like in GT4 for the tranny tuning, except doing it for suspension?)

Great news about the tuning features alot more depth than i expected, also being able to configure the buttons on the G25 shifter for the live dynamics is a real bonus.

Yeah it looks like it indeed, since the box looks like a retail version aswell. Review version are blank discs most of the time, and in normal juwelcase boxes. But it would be kinda strange if the retail versions are send out before review discs

This is a great question, Dave! I can imagine a forum where you can actually post exact setting configuration files would be very popular, and is something that I would love to include here on GTPlanet.

It's actualy REAL footage from melbourne and not in game GTP footage! but it just hilights the graphics on GT can easily confused with the real thing especialy through youtube LOL....edit....ignore that second night at beer festival hic!

Got an idea here guys and girls. There have been a hundred questions asked of amar on this thread and there spread over 25 pages (so far) theres no way he can collate and awnser hem all! At the moment he's still hammering away at he game and giving us HIS first impressions. give him a few days before he can specificaly awnser individual questions. But in the meen time how about we colate ALL of our questions into 1 post or even a thread, the "enlightenment of Amar" thread. post one can be just a list of questions and the rest of the post is where you stick questions to add to the list. This way it will make it easier for amar to awnesr our million and one questions easily.....what dose everyone think?

I have a few concerns. Its suppose to be "The Real Driving Simulator" Right?

The why is it you have to UNLOCK the tuning side later down the track? I mean IRL you don't have to drive your car for several weeks before you get the chance to unlock the tuning side of it, you go it when you want.

This professional setting? is that a level of difficulty you choose before you start your career? Or is it just the name of a hall of races? I was not please with GT4 when I could not do one race in the whole game due to it being to hard, I am just an average driver.

Also no more than 2Million in the bank? WTF, stupid thing, well done PD you morons. I store my money, buy as little cars as possible, I won't be able to do that now I guess.

yeah. in gt5 the tuning and upgrades will be available from the get go with your first 5000 dollar used integra. probably have body kits available too!

You'll be surprised how soon you can rack up the money. you get paid for evry online race you enter whether you finish fist (most money) or last (least money)

I've already had 1mil and spent it all on Ferraris
