There you go.

OMG I went to bed and I got up, and some more freakin' info!!!!! Woo I thank you amar! That F1 cockpit view looks just like the real thing!

Whoooah. Some of the posts in here reminded me why I don't frequent the GT forums much...

I still LOVE how detailed that F40 is.

I noticed that there was no digital speedo, rev meter, fuel, or circuit in the F2007's digital display :/

many thanks to amar212 for updating us again!

not that it´s important, but meanwhile PD calls gt5p (besides THE NEW STANDARD, THE DRIVE OF YOUR LIFE; THE REAL DRIVING SIMULATOR) a CAR LIFE SIMULATOR.

Apart from the fact that the screen don't work in the cockpit, the F2007 looks almost real in there! It also makes you realise how cramped an F1 car is.

The TVR Speed 6 in JP GT5P has a working digital rev counter. The 350Z also has a digital speedo.

It shouldn't be a hard thing to do in the F1.

maybe we think the f2007s display is not working, because of the "cockpit view is too dark"-issue or because the lcd used is old-fashioned and you can´t read anything due to the sun directly shining on it...

imagine drivers animations in f2007 for adjusting TCS, anti-lock, etc. !

Now that I come to think of it, it would be nice if the cars actually got DIRTY from time to time

Yes it seems that way, you can see where the line of the shadow is (you can't see half of the wheel)

In the Japanese GT5P I just took the TVR speed 6 to the same spot on Suzuka and you also can't see the LCD in that position with the shadow on it (well you can barely but I have brightness turned up). This over-darkness is something I hope they would fix.

I don't see the point in people sotring up their credits. What's the point of having credits if you're not going to use them? As soon as i hit that 2mil credit cap i'm gonna buy an F2007. Then when i hit it again buy the F2007 AGAIN in another colour. then just start buying all these different cars in different colours. Honestly what's the point in having spare credits in GT5: P? What are you saving them up for? there's nothing else to use them on other than those cars!

:idea:Cool, there are cars with 'digiometers' lol, maybe ure right about the shadow thing aswell.
As for cars getting dirty, it would make the 'car wash feature' in pther GT games make more sense, it would also be quite cool if you got les grip after going off on grass, then coming back on, because there would be grass stuck to your tyres.

Not sure if this has already been mentioned in the thread but could you please tell me whether this game has split screen?

It says '1 player' on the box!

well, in gt5p jpn you DO have less grip when returning from your short trip to grasslands for about the next 200 - 400 meters.

Then when i hit it again buy the F2007 AGAIN in another colour.
Uh, the F2007 only come in one colour: Italian Racing Red. I know this because Ferrari only ever run their cars in that colour. If you have designs on buying an F2007 in yellow, blue, green, pink and khaki, they're not going to come to much.

And I seriously doubt that the F2007 will be the only awesome car in the game. In fact, I'd also doubt the 2,000,000 credit price tag. LMPs in GT4 got 4,500,000 each and sold for about 790,000. The Formula GT, on the other hand sold for over 1,500,000, a fraction of its cost price even if there was nowhere to buy one. The 2,000,000 credit asking price on the F2007 is probably there to make it a manageable achievement because from reading amar's posts (and the posts of others), it takes a long time to start getting a serious bank balance. All things being equal in the final game, the F2007 is probably going to be the single most expensive car available. Unless other F1 cars make it as well; there they're all going to be expensive.

It comes in two shades of red, because Ferrari changed the F1 cars colour halfway through the 2007 season to the more classic deeper red.

The screenshots of the dealer menu proves you can choose two colours (shades of red) and two different numbers, and also shots the 2 million credit price.
