Well I can't really see because I'm red/green colour blind. It all looks the same to me, but the user I was quoting - can't remember their name - implied there were several colours to choose from (ie more than two).

Maybe it's the fact that there are four options to choose from - two shades of red and two different numbers as well, 5 & 6 (depending on if you are in a Finnish mood or a Brazilian mood ;) )

Can you chose tyres like Kimi's? You know, the ones covered in grass and gravel?

:idea:Cool, there are cars with 'digiometers' lol, maybe ure right about the shadow thing aswell.
As for cars getting dirty, it would make the 'car wash feature' in pther GT games make more sense, it would also be quite cool if you got les grip after going off on grass, then coming back on, because there would be grass stuck to your tyres.

You do in the Japanese version, takes about 100 meters to clean them off.

big misstake guys...repair that

Thats the sadest post i have ever seen, honestly.

On this pic it's clearly the 2007 wings sticking out. Must be a lack of shadow in the area on the side pic

Uh, the F2007 only come in one colour: Italian Racing Red. I know this because Ferrari only ever run their cars in that colour. If you have designs on buying an F2007 in yellow, blue, green, pink and khaki, they're not going to come to much.

They were plain old red until 1997.
Then the cars were Marlboro red.

Early 2007, they decided to go back to a darker red:

And as of Monaco '07, the cars are painted in a modern, somewhat pearly/metallic version of the color, see photo:

Sometimes they have those wings, sometimes they don't They do experiment a lot...

In this picture you can see that is has the SAME wing as in GT5P

There are so many wing variations that PD only needs to choose one. Because you see a different picture does not mean PD did a wrong job.

NoxNoctis Umbra, interesting pictures.
Could it have to do with the 2 different colors having different wings?

the top one, I am not sure if that is even 2007.. but the bottom 2 pics are..

It might be a 2007, I hear they try to experiment as much as possible..
I was just watching an F1 last night, GREAT race by the way 👍

And one guy crashed, Lost few laps, and they say that only thing he could now is to Experiment with different setting and what not. So things change a lot in F1 world.

By the way. Iven if PD sticked a Ferrari Emblem to a pice of BLOCK or a triangle, sure ill drive it but has has to be same power and specs just like a real F1 :)

That's a genuine F2007 people. No incorrect wings.

Secondly, if you're an F1 fan you should know that pretty much every other month and definitely every race, an F1 car has different wings and aerodynamical elements. Sometimes to cope with the different speeds and downforce requirements of the track, sometimes because a newer, better wing has been developed for the remainder of the season.

I found a pic of Marc Gené driving a car at Fiorano, very similar to the one in GT5:

And Räikkönen in this demonstration:

The discussion could end right here...

However...

A similar, yet slightly bigger sidepod wing was used on Monaco, Bahrain, Magny-Cours, Sepang, Montréal, Valencia, Barcelona and Monza:

Probably even more tracks.

But...I don't find any photos of the large wings you claim to be the correct ones...

Those were likely installed on an F2007 after the actual 2007 season, for F2008 development.

In what lap did he crash (It's on right now here).

And... I don't really care about what wing it is, as long as something's there...

F12007?!!!! WOW!!! I didn't know it even existed!

It was within first lap of the race :)

I've missed finish. Show started at 12, here and after an hour i went to sleep ;) hehe

well I know who WON!.. YAY

back to topic.. :)

Page 32!

Funny how the F2007 got "discovered" by Amar212 right before the season start of Formula One (Correct me if I'm wrong)

Well, by the time they were in development it was probably too late to do all the work for more F1 cars, and there are other F1 cars more likely to get in before MCLaren, much to our misfortune, I reckon BMW and honda are more likely to get in first, if at all. BMW Becuase they let many developers use their cars, such as ISI and Whoever makes LFS, Honda becuase there japanese.

Yeah, it is a shame the F2008 isn't there.
But I would like to have all the 2008 F1 cars in the "final" GT5. Just think of it. Every Saturday, a F1 race would be held on the "About to be raced" race track, with 2 drivers on each team until the end of the season!

That would be alot of fun 👍

Yeah man, That would be fun, too bad im not yet that good of a driver to participate.
I wonder if Planet GT would create servers once FULL GT5 game comes out.
