Don't know if it is PC or Mac display thing, but I have here on my display preferences 1280x800, mine goes up to 1900x1200... either way.

I'm doing 3 wallpapers for members PS3's doing them in 1080p....I think, I've been told 1280X800 is the reseloution people want them in? if it's different I can change it as the originals are over 3600Xsomething! :scared:

I look at the Ferrari F2007 in "GT5: Prologue," and I think... DAMN! The quality is unbelievable. For a guy who doesn't follow Formula One that much, I'm actually quite impressed and stunned at the quality this deal provides. Something like this lets you be your own Kimi Raikkonen, or even Michael Schumacher.

A track that hasn't been talked about at all is Daytona... Daytona's road course, that is. All I've seen was the Daytona oval. What is it like in GT5P to race the Daytona road course? This is the first true "roval" in Gran Turismo history (unless you count that joke of a race track called "Beginner" in GT4). I've raced the Daytona road course as an rFactor download, so I know what it's like. But how does the action go in GT5P?

1920 x 1080 please! =)

Racing on the Daytona road course is quite fun IMO. Coming through the tri - oval and heading into the 1st turn can be very difficult if your carrying too much speed. When I come back onto the oval, I like to run right up against the wall in the high banked turns to get a better run of the corner.

No offense, but are you purposely ignoring my posts? I've answered your question 2 times already.

The Viper in the game is a 2006 model. The wheels and color options give it away.

no, i wasnt. i missed your post. sorry :)

i wanted a confirmed answer from a player that actually HAS the game.

colors or wheels do not do justice for me.

BTW, for whatever reason, the AI cars go slower than they should through the banked corners.

EDIT:Sorry for the double post. My computer messed up there for a second.

Is it just me or does the topmost wing above the driver (that's either red or yellow) seem to be really low resolution / jaggedy and with minimal reflection?

because its only a camera. Thats why you see overhead view of the driver and car when you watch F1

I can't answer your question, as I don't yet have GT5:P.

I can however ask you to follow the AUP, which asks that basic grammar is used in all posts, that means starting you're sentences with a capital letter.

You agreed to follow the AUP when you joined and its not an 'option' so can I please ask that you do so from now on.

I love the wallpaper (And the F1!!!)

Amar212 is online, so we could expect an update in an hour or two!:)

And the last one, if theres something specific you want and theres a few of you then shout up! again either brows and save the image via the PS3 and then set as wallpaper or tranfaer the image from your desktop after saveing it by thumb drive (usb stick) or media shareing.

Scaff, that guy really wants his answer SO BAD that if you check his posts-history ONLY THING he posted about EVER was about this damn Viper. LOL :D

So, dear zeusraodin here's your answer:

Viper SRT10 is 2006.

I hope this is clearly visible for you. If not, please ask again so I can repeat it. Also, if you'd only searched a little bit, you'd easily find that info in thread regarding all details prior to GT5:P release - which also happens to be most read thread in GT5:P sub-forum.

For all other info just follow this link, you have 100+ pages to read with other nice informations:

I just hope you're satisfied now.

First of all, thanks again Amar. You've keep us awake the hole night :sly:

Hey Scaff (and all of you intrested of course), I just read your debate with Bjaelke regarding game-size. Notice that BR-game comes with 4 HD movies in GT:TV department - Mitsubishi Lancer X, and all 3 GT-R Special Episodes. As they're all HD movies with 5.1 sound without compression, I guess they're the thing which takes additional 4GB of install. However, you can later delete them from the game file if you want, thus reducing the overall game-install size..

I've just seen this: http://www.ps3fanboy.com/2008/03/17/gt5-prologue-download-weighs-1-9gb/

"Prologue reduces its footprint is by leaving cinematics on the server until you choose to download them from GT TV. You can choose to download the opening movie at any time, and when you finish Event series you're told that you can now download the end movie from the in-game high-definition TV download page."

Please excuse me if it's been already said.

Nice find. Thats why I am getting the DISC version.. 15 minute trip to store, VS few hour download. I have my winner

Indeed, 1080p is 1920 x 1080! Where can we download your backgrounds in full resolution? The images you posted look great, but are not 1920 x 1080.

Exactly. Which is why I'm asking just to make sure since it was PRIOR to its release. Some euro site has the srt10 listed as '06 model yet there were some conflicting numbers (the weight for example).

Oh and I'm not the only one that wanted to know about the viper. I'm doing this for several of my friends and posters alike :>

I only see an black visor:indiff:
Look closer or increase gamma/brightness on your monitor.

Speaking of gamma, I just found this pic and don't know if it's been posted before (too many unread pages to check).
It shows perfectly what amar means by improved gamma correction while driving in-car. He's totally right, looks much better than the Japanese version.
