all this talk about F1 cars and WRC license, got me thinking...

in theory, a GT containing F1, WRC, and some other licenses like the super GT, BTCC, australian V8, egg, would be an absolut package for GT5. we would sure love it, and the strange silence regarding those licenses makes especulate, but does it make sense from a business standpoint?

having WRC and F1 packed inside one game, whereas you can sell 3 different games?

i don't know, having the cars would be enough for me... anything extra could be considered as a bonus.

cant' wait for the update, which seems likely, judging from the last batch of pics

EDIT -

and with the help of babelfish, it looks like the next update will let the servers down for 2 days? maybe or babelfish is just bad?

"The guide 2008 March 18th ' グランツーリスモ 5 prologue ' of online event periodic renewal with March 20th (the wood) around 2 o'clock in the afternoon, periodic renewal of the online event is executed. The event which is held it becomes end entirely to that, the new event starts simultaneously. Please expect. As for new event information, after the event renewing please verify in the page below."

Sorry if this is dumb question, but can you make a custom playlist from the songs that you have stored on your PS3?

Thanks in advance... :)

Thank you very much again and again for the update Amar, whenever you have time (GT5P and Everybody´s Golf you will be playing for months) try to see if you can map the Live dynamics without losing any views or other buttons functions. Thanks again.

Well, you cover all my questions with the five updates, now the only thing I can do is waitin 8 more days. It would be awesome if they update the JPN version this thursday.

It can be done no problem on G25 - since there is enough buttons - but I do not have DFP anymore so I can't cofirm for it. And as there are not enoguh buttons on DFP, I guess it can be done somehow by using controller as add-on. But, I guess you'll get your answer soon enough.

Thanks, I will take a look a pic of a G25 and see the buttons.

Edit: I think there will be no problem with the DFP, It has the same number of buttons

So I have thought, example of mapping on a DFPro:

+ = L3
- = R3
dial left = L2
dial right = R2
Enter = Square button.
Circle = e-brake
Triangle = reverse
X = Horn

With this way we won`t loose anything, we will still have all the views on the D-pad.

This is insane...

edit: I wanted to make a comparison shot, but somehow, the GT shot doesn't show :(
bummer

edit2: oh.. here we go lol

1 thing i don't like about GT5 (and the whole GT universe) is that everything looks so clean and shiny, i never saw a totally clean track in real life..

Thats normal and happens every week when they update the online events in the Japanese GT5P, no it wont be down for two days.

I agree (kind of) It would be nice to see dirt gather on the car over time and to clean it you would need to bring it to a car wash. But its not realy needed.

There's another new announcement (march 18.) at the official gt5p website. seems an online TT is to be held on march 20., but it's in some way limited for 10 minutes?

Maybe it is like the offline events where you try and get gold with in a time limit, but in this case you join the online event and have 10 minutes to post hot laps (no restarts being online), sort of like a qualifing session. Sounds like a cool idea for a online event.

While 2007-model F1 cars are awesome, I'd love to see a return of historial F1 machines. I was watching the Grand Prx the other day and a few people took an interest and asked me a whole heap of questions on the subject (it was truly frightening how much I knew off the top of my head), and it occured to me that Formula One has one of the richest histories of any sport in the world. With GT4's philosophy being that of "not a racing similator, but a history of motoring", it makes sense that the history of motoring's top tier should be as much a part of the GT series as any other area of it.

But even if it's just the F2007, I'll be happy.

Circle = e-brake:cool:

Configuration on mine G25:

Left red button on wheel - rear view
Right red button on wheel - Turn menu on/of

I will probably switch these two functions(!)

D-Pad up/down - cycle menus up/down (+/-)
D-Pad left/right - dial l/r
traingle - reverse
square - look left
circle - look right
X - ghost car
Right red button below D-Pad = E-brake

It's a little bit tricky to operate but practice makes perfect :)

And yes, i have a PAL Prologue :cool: (thx A.)
