Davethestalker, just copy and paste! going to go make a 1080p wallpaper of this one and another, any requests?

Thanks Hereward. The only complication with that sites presentation is the lack of individual file names. You have to name each file. This does discourage massive downloading. I only grabbed a few :(

Using M$ Picture Manager works just fine to edit sizes down to 1920X... The best part of using that app is that you can edit all of the pictures in a particular folder/directory at once.

Thank Hereward :)

I know this is one for amar to answer but I like your lateral thinking Jordan! :)

What if all these cars have been in JPN prologue all along waiting to be unlocked with the release of the US/EU versions... what if there are more hidden nicey's in there like night driving..... hmm you never know.

Remember the hidden stuff in GT4P.... the SSR5 which never made it to the final release, The alpine track (forgotten the name), Hong Kong was hidden and so was the Las Vegas drag strip along with the Venice photo location which you could drive on the water! plus all the cars that were there as opponents could be driven if hacked............That was a lot of hidden stuff!

PD have a history of putting in easter eggs like this but with new PS3 software it may be harder the crack...

In theory loading a replay on a Japaniese prologue might work and the other cars may be revealed in the pack... its a long shot and as you said imaginative thinking but I would also like to know what happens if you try it!

Amar has already answered ;). Sadly the answer was no, the NTSC-J game doesn't recodnise PAL game replays. I'd assume no combinations of the games formats do.

Oh rite, must have missed it in this sea of posts! :sly:

Still on topic of hidden things, I think there are hidden cars and tracks to be found just like in GT4P and even GTC had hidden stuff... Someone just needs to figure out how to access them..

I doubt they are hidden because the japan version is 700mb while the EU version is 1.8gb download.

Thats one of Amars, unfortunatly he's had to use his digital camera and take it during a replay directly of his TV......Yhe image quality dosn't compare with direct screen grabs! I have a stand alone medical screen grabber (don't ask but yeah it's high quality LOL) If theres no photo mode (Please let there be a photo mode) I'll gab some with that when I get the game.

But still can't wait for the PS9!!! http://youtube.com/watch?v=PLiiUkh_r7U
(I don't know how to post the video directly on here)

There quite a story behind that video...

Its funny because that was a real Sony advert done officially to promote the PS2 launch (hence the bit at the end)...... it was heavily mocked because instead of people getting hyped about it showing some far off future system with amazing reality gaming just made the PS2 look rubbish by comparison and the advert was shelved very quickly....

I think its quite a neat future idea :)

oh and to post youtube vids just click the youtube tagger icon in the reply screen and enter the number between it (in this case v=PLiiUkh_r7U). 👍

I'm using the macbook it likes playing with pics, I'll throw a chunk of good pics into the thread now, just delete them if I get multiples

Sorry, poor english :ouch:

I dont want to create a thread only for this, so i put my video here, some basic drifting i've done for fun, no big stuff here, im doing this little video because i cant use my G25 and GT5P for weeks, medical Reasons :ill:

Hope you gonna like it, feel free to gives me your comments, tips, preferences, things like that, thanks.

Nice vid, I think there maybe a drift section or thread to put this in, if not start a new thread with it in, I'll get lost in hear within a mater of hours LOL

Greetingz, gasoline maniacs :dopey:! Have registered to this forum only to have a look at those nice pics in this thread ^^
First off, muchos gracias to the thread opener's dedication to share with us all the usefull info he hathered by playing the game. Sure, i will make use of it. Nothing worse than buying a car and thereby get rid of your hard earned credits when you actually don't need to buy it...

I would appreciate a tutorial on the QTS, as i am not so much familiar with all those fine-tune setting possibilities and their respectable effects on car behaviour.

You know, in GT4 the most thing i did is to mess around with the gear box, making gear transitions shorter for curvy tracks etc...

But regarding brake settings, differential setup (distributing torque to front/rear), suspension setup and all those stuff, am not sure how to make most out of it. Going for the optimal setup, both for fast and curvy tracks...
When it comes to tuning a car, it's all about the combination of all those setups. One setup has to support the other one....

And oh, why i am actually posting: Here is the gallery link from the german site that already got their hands on the PAL final build of GT5P...
Guess, the link was somewhere posted here already but it is worth to be reposted!

There are some interesting pics of tuned cars, not sure if there is any real race car there being displayed...

Bet you will have some fun with that yellow S2000 when participating drift events.

99 pics from final build of GT5P (PAL)

previosuly written:

About your sarcasm: As F2007 is an open wheel car, its quite easy to catch the correct/incorrect size of its tires. Specially if you have pics of the two versions (real & game) side by side. And i know F1 cars very well. There are lots of games out there featuring open wheel cars with the wright size tires and i expect no less from PD, quite honestly.

The first time I saw the pictures of the F2007 from the game I also noticed that the tires are too thin (especially the rears). It makes the car look much less agressive in my opinion. It's not a huge deal, but for the most significant car in the game, PD should have got it right.

hows the AA? Improved? Jaggie heaven still?
Ive played the JPN on two different sets (own the hard copy [imported] and also downloaded it)... 1080p LCD and 1080i CRT. Jaggies are a problem and fanboys are in denial. I hope they get this worked out. :(

I do not know yet if all info below is true:
"Several Moscow (Russia) online-shops have received PAL copies of GT5P and are ready to release them at once. I gave a call to one of that shops a few hours ago and they confirmed GT5P PAL (SCEE) is available as stock standart."
A friend of mine who lives in Moscow (unfortunately I do not:indiff:) has ordered a few copies. He will let me know as soon as he receives."

I'll keep you informed if intrested..

Yeah this sometimes happens in eastern europe as well, they seem less intrearead in sticking to sony and MS release dates and more in getting the jump on the other retailers to get it out first. Fair play to them really, I suspect in some cases sony and MS ect actualy tell them to do this (in some not all) just to get the hype going a bit more and get the lucky guys who manage to grab a copy feeding info into the web forums. You'l find these retailers sell out of stock VERY VERY quickly LOL

Managed to dig out this one! again go to the link click on the image, then "view full size image" for the 1080p PS3 wallpaper version, then save it to your USB stick or do it directly through your PS3 if your useing 720p or a standard def TV your PS3 will correct the image automaticaly best to fit. You'll also see the F1 wallpapers on there if you missed them.
