Cool thanks, but in some moments it seems the game hiccups in that HD video, I'm sure they hurried up with the release, PS3 needs it now like never before. So they didn't have the time to optimise it perfectly. That's in case I'm not mistaken with the sources of those hiccups in the first place. I also have noticed some slowdowns in this beautiful french demonstration while during replay section by the end of thye video. Nevertheless the resolution is amazingly high even for a modern high-end PC videocard(1080p) and seeing such high quality graphics+HDR @60fps is one brilliant achievment, I'd say most brilliant thus far on PS3.

edit: the video slowed down, not GT. I just reloaded the page and the video is smooth now.

I just had a seizure, heart attack and made a mess in my pants simultaneously while watching the F2007 video. All I can say is OMG. Everything looks and sounds perfect. And now I'm going to go watch it over and over again a few more times. WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

wow... great thread!!

i was curious, does any one have any hopes of a photo mode?? that was my favourite new feature of GT4. i absolutely loved it.

i just wish that GT5P can get some sort of update to implement it or something.. i wish they do..

i pray for some sort of patch/update to amend the 2 player replay issues.. at the least..

New vid up on gametrailers (London track):

Nice video, i have a question about it though. In the video there are 12 cars racing instead of 16. Is there a different maximum of cars per race track that can drive at one time? Depending on how big and detailed the track is for instance. Or did the guy you start a 12 car race in arcade or something.

Thanks to Amar for his awesome information:tup:. It has got me looking to buy the gt pack and a g25:)

I think it depends on how detailed the track is. But then again, 16 cars on a sub-minute track is not quite right, so 12 or even less it's fine with me.

Hey amar212, quick question.

So you say G25 works just like the Japanese version, I wonder, I own the wheel, and for me when I go to the DFP setting, and change options from Amateur, Professional, and Simulation I don't feel any difference with my G25 wheel. Can you play around with it and tell me If they work in European copy for the G25 wheel and is there any differance? THANKS
Can anyone that has a Japanese copy confirm if they work or don't work... Is the wheel always set to SIM mode?
By the way I have it set to Simulation right now.

F1 results edited out by mod. Keep it to the F1 forums.

You A$$!!
I had to work so I haven't watched the race yet & I stayed away from sports shows & the F1 forum only to have you spoil the race for me by posting that in a thread that has nothing to do with todays race!!
thanks a lot! :ouch: :grumpy:

I am also unhappy with the F1 spoilers ina few threads in the GT5 forum, keep it in the f1 forum!

The race is not live here and the F1 race was spoilt after viewing GT threads.

TheMoose don't look in the Porsche thread (in GT5 forum) if you don't want the podium results.

If you take notice when you select the sim options the DFP picture greys out, thats because the "Amateur, Professional, and Simulation" option is not used on the DFP or G25.

U Didn’t watch the race and u came to car forum, way to go dude.

The Moose, and others, are correct.

Please keep any F1 talk in the F1 forum. Do not spoil races for other people, by posting off-topic, in the wrong forum, about a race result.

Thanks.

No you idiot, I came to the GT5P forum!!!
There is a reason there is a F1 forum!

I'm with ya. :grumpy: I tried to stay up and watch it but it is in the middle of the night. Was exited to see it today and damn...... you come across a GT5P unrealated post.

2008 New York auto show

Subaru created its own sit-down controller for Gran Turismo 5 Prologue for this year's New York Auto Show. The pod lets you race their new STI on a rally track and bounces around when you hit bumps. Now this is something they should set up at malls across America.

RALLY TRACK GUYS, someone go there and take pictures please! :P

That thing is old.. I saw it in a Polyphony Studio tour vid from before GT4 came out. Looks fun though! 👍
That's GT4 isn't it? Hence the orange coloured position / speed etc?

Actually, that's not even GT4? I can't remember which one had those nasty orange readouts...?
GT3 or GTC..

pfff, why write "Gran Turismo 5 Prologue" then, stupid journalist (never seen that thing before so... :()

Why would you put an old game like this at this year's show?! :(
