Doh!!! I said a while back I got a male saying my copy has arrived, but it said they have send it so it'll probably be in the mailbox tomorrow!!!

Jordan I think the first video is not from the amuse s2000 but from the Amuse / Opera Performance 350Z

Update: for all who couldn't download the amuse s2000 video from megaupload here the filefactory link, which should work :-)

Hm.

Just when I have less than no money... my brain has just flip-flopped over to really wanting to get the PS3 and GT5P.

Bummer!

Thats sucks man, Ive been saving Since Xmas of last year (2 years back i mean) , Enough to get me PS3, few games, BIG SCREEN TV at 1080p, G25 wheel. Japanese GT5P and then US version, But on my calculations I won't have anything left for a 5.1 speaker system. :( oh well.

G25 is the only thing left for me.. can't stand the pedals on the DFP of mine! :indiff:

Notice that races are 50-50% Standard/Professional - while all Time-Trials are Professional. Also notice that all Time-Trials are limited only by handling model and PP points. In other words, you can participate with ANY car and any Tire-compound, as long as their respectful manage gives obliged amount of PP's. I find that great, because now there will be enourmous amount of combination for every Event.

WOW!

Wow, talk about a massive brain fart... :ouch: Thanks for pointing that out!

Anyway, just to let everyone know, there have also been two more videos released by SCEA today which have just been posted on the News home page.

^^ the clock has been there from the beginning.

I'm not talking about the one on the main screen, there is now a clock online in the area where you choose your online races.

Can someone explain to us guys who didn't get the JPN version of GT5p how the online races work, in particular the options available. What I think happens is you select online race then are given a number of "types" of race available ie low group cars on a certain skill level on a certain track. This is how PGR3 online worked and it worked damn well.....Am I completly off the mark here?

In the last vid of SCEA you can see some tsuiso (2p drift) action going on between the RX7 FD and RX8. Does this mean that we will have drift battle's in the full GT5.

No that's pretty much it.

Numer0bis uploaded a couple of images.

Here

Those videos are awesome and my first look at in game video of the DB9!! Yay!!! Looks awesome, just means the next few days until it turns up are going to go V-E-R-Y S-L-O-W-L-Y.....

Ahh missed those, thanks for that quick reply, so the std is standard and I take it from Amars post half of them will be simulation. With the class of car I did see a list of all cars and there classes so that makes sense now. Finally the tuneing options.....can you race these events with a car you've tuned yourself and say there a PI number which you cant exceed which would take you out of class, I remember there was the ability to tune your car before a race? or is this what STD means ie standard (non tuned) and tuned cars? If this is something not on the JPN version then I'll have to wait till my pre order drops through the door but from what I can see the online races are setup very very similar to the system used in PGR3 ranked online mode ie set car and class, with the matchmaking system (thats what PGR3 used) you should find yourself racing the same group of people which is good, I loved the PGR3 system and it kept me racing until F2 arived many many many months later! This is going to be excellent.

you're doing an incredible job amar. 8 great and long updates. keep going.
over 2000 replies and over 100 pages. now, that's something. 👍
