got the game one day.
Finished the two lowest classes with no problems.
allthough I have one bronze and a silver in the try to beat the time in 10 minutes.
Just wanted to say that i'm impressed so far by online play.
Matchmaking goes quick.
Just not sure about the starting positions. I guess they are random.
On the 7 online races entered one got disconnected.
I drove four on one account and let a friend drive three on another account. So he wouldn't mess up my stats
It seems when the other drivers make big mistakes the cars go through you.
If they make small mistakes the cars will hit each other.
i thought this was rather clever.
However the no barriers disappear rather quickly. So when cars in front of you are having all sorts of trouble it is still better to try and avoid them.
Blinking cars you can drive through them but only for a small period of time.
Haven't driven the professional races.
I'm also impressed by the difference of driving professional or standard.
driving standard with all the aids turned of is rather easy.
first difficulties encountered while driving GTR beat the time in 10 minutes on professional settings. couldn't control the car like i wanted. Barely got bronze.
Tried it standard and was very close to gold.
the game is well worth it's price.
One more thing. cockpit view is great. It is only much harder to see what speed you are driving. But turn the volume up and you can shift just by listening to the engine noise.
does anyone know how to turn the music off?
Gold doesn't reward anything extra as far as I know. Still want to get my gold though.
I am at work right now. But my guess is you finish the first three classes and then you can tune your cappucino. I don't know if the tuned cappucino is allowed. If i'm not mistaken the test says Try to beat the time in your Cappucino.
Edit from the update itself so I think it goes for the cappucino as well.
Also, notice this - with opening the S class, QTS (Quick-Tune Setup) becomes available for most races. Although you won't be able to mess up with Power and Weight for your cars in one-lap-magic events, you'll be allowed to make mechanical adjustments - and gearing become an imperative. For example, F40's 1st gear limits at 120 km/h, while 2nd is limited at 198 km/h on default setting. Max speed at default setting is extended all the way up to 449 km/h. Reducing gear-ratios makes F40 a true beast (default gearing just kills the rear wheels with the torque), and that's the most important aspect of opening the S class events ASAYC.

No you can play the game. Some options are disabled till you update the game though.
I'm stuck on that laprecord test in C class with the cappucino. Still 1.8 seconds off the gold time... Anyone with some tips?
