Finding the right words to describe this tune is hard... For a car that is PL to 80% and 577BHP...well... OMG! It is fast, way fast... During the race on MP I realised on the 2nd straight, in 5th gear it was doing 320Km/h (200mph)... :P

But it's not only speed, extreme agile, responsive and fun to drive. The usual throttle accel. exiting corners is needed, as many other cars...

Great tune for an unexpected car... :)

Excellent wins, especially with the FT1 normal car tune. that took me ages to get right. :)

I just noticed that the information for the High RPM version is wrong. The BHP should be higher than it is. I will find out why the BHP really is and update the OP. Nice wins indeed. Good to see these cars in action.

have now tried all three tunes for Gt-R NISMO `14 from shaunm80 ...... and it´s was just before I wet myself ..... they are brilliant :cheers:
Good job on the Sierra race and I'm glad you like the Nismo collection. I really like that car, just a shame its not considered normal by PD for using in seasonal events.

I noticed that, but did not mention it because I used a M4 I already had in my garage (got it from seasonals) and I believe it had a oil change... :grumpy:... therefore I PL the car more then needed...

Good to see these cars in action.

and they are great in it... :)

Nice to see that someone else is giving the FT-1's a go.

I've had some good ammounts of fun with them despite their inability of being tuned.

Fired up my ps3 yesterday evening to build some tunes and grind some credits. Discovered that the ammount of BMW's in my garage had increased to 32!! :eek: A good third close to half of them are M4's in different variations.

Darn it @shaunm80 .. Yes.. I blame you......for making this car a pure pleasure to dirve. :sly:

Its not a bad thing that your garage is full of BMWs. The ultimate driving machine in a nearly ultimate driving simulator. or something like that anyway.. :) I take your blame as a compliment and hope to create a lot more tunes which you can enjoy driving that you blame me for.

I'm in the same boat, @shaunm80. I now have 3 BMW M4 Coupe's and the M4 M Performance Edition (Safety Car). They're loaded up with tunes from you and @Highlandor and I couldn't be happier. I've now got cars very well suited for a variety of situations. The only other car that I own several copies of is the Lamborghini Gallardo. I keep one completely stock and then I've built multiple replica builds from @Ridox2JZGTE's replica garage. I used to think I was crazy to own two copies of the same car - now that seems to almost be the norm, if I really like a particular model. :lol:

Keep up the great work! đź‘Ť

This variation of the Rocket tune is designed to be stable through long sweeping curves to get the maximum amount of speed from this car throughout an entire lap of a circuit. Throttle control is required on sharp turns as this car is a little slidey when you first put the power down but the slides can be corrected very easily as long as you use the throttle to control the slide itself.

@shaunm80

Just made my first tune if you have any time to have a look at it and test it. I would really appreciate any feedback you could give me with your skills at tuning

Thank you

https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/tunes/citroën-gt-race-car.870/
I would have to get @chrisspeed281 or @LordJCS to test this car. I don't own this car and if I'm being honest, I don't think ill own it for a long time. too much money for a car ill hardly use. When I do get this car though, Ill definitely give it a go. :)

If anyone has 4 hours free over the next 10 days, would they be able to undertake some testing for the FITT competition. It is the final class, only 8 entries to test. I have just finished my testing of this class of cars and I really enjoyed it. Some excellent cars in there which are a hoot to drive.

It is the FITT British Invasion - Pro Touring GT class

Link here - Scroll down a few posts to find the Pro Touring GT class information and tunes which have entered.

I helped out @Bowtie-muscle a little in the beginning of this challenge with preliminary testing and balancing the cars out but the final class of cars has been a little short of testers. Each car takes roughly 30 mins each and you just have to write a small review about the car and what you thought of it, along with the best lap time you achieved and a driver choice score which will be explained to you if you are able to test.

I know you guys who visit my thread do a lot of testing and reviewing for me, of which I am extremely grateful and the main reason I keep producing tunes for you guys to drive around in. It would be a favour to me if you could do some testing and reviewing.

I will promise you this, anyone who does a test/review for the FITT, I will tune any car for you at any spec to the best of my ability. (apart from the 20 million credit cars as I do not own them, nor can i afford them!!) Call it a gratitude payment as we do not have the ability to send cars as gifts these days.

Many thanks and I hope that someone is able to help out with this.

Would've been better to link to the first page of the thread instead of the 21st as you did.. You silly goose! :D

I might have some spare time to spend..

The ones i'll be testing are as follows:
-----------------------------------------
Yours (No surprise there)
@Bowtie-muscle
@Otaliema
@Motor City Hami
-----------------------------------------

I might find more time to have a go with the others as well.. Only time will tell.

:cheers:

If you do testing for this, it has to be the whole field... The results are used to work out podium places for the FITT members who take part.. Its an all or nothing test I'm afraid :) Be great if you could do testing though for this. You would be really good at it. As I said, any car... :)

Uhm?! The whole field?!

That wasn't the case when i did the last test, what gives?!

I think your confusing the FITT British Invasion challenge with the Car of the Month thread... :) Its always been the same for the actual FITT competitions.
