This car suspensive does not yet you change the Toe angle which makes the turning a little bit jerky at times through sharp corners. It does have good handling through long corners though.

Edit 2/3/14 - Tune has been revised slightly. Suspension and LSD have been adjusted to make the steering less jerky. Feels smoother to drive now.

Edit: All tunes are now published on page 6.
Hey Shaun,
Great work mate. I'm interested to give the IS350 a run. It's good fun taking a GT300 to fight against the GT500's. Bite of more than you can chew & chew like hell! Are you tuning the BRZ to do the same?
The Camaro is a fave so that'll get some attention too :D.

Keep up the great work:cheers:

Chevrolet Corvette Z06 (C6) '06

This car will do corners although it doesn't like really tight bends. I blame the americanism of it for the sharp bends handling technique. The supercharger makes this car really smooth through the gears and always able to gain speed easily out of corners. Feedback for this tune would be great as I was not totally sold on the handling but I couldn't get it any better than what I have at the moment. It may need another visit at a later date but someone let me know how this handles for them.

Being that the C6 Z06 is one of my favorite cars in GT6, I gave this tune a try ... seemed very pushy and stiff in my opinion.

I tried it back to back at Bathurst with my near-stock setup and my setup was faster. I would say go way lighter on the springs -- somewhere around 7 front and 7.5 rear seemed much better. You can also drop the ride height to 100/100 with no ill effects that I have seen.

I also prefer a bit of a tail happy car, while your tune just spun the inside rear wheel coming out of corners due to the more open diff settings.

Just wanted to give you a bit of feedback (since you asked for it) but also some praise because your Diablo GT2 setup for the seasonal was GREAT! Spot on there, very predictable and made for an easy win!

Thanks

The IS350 is a challenge but it is able to win. One tip is brake early on the first lap till the tyres are warmed up then you can really push the car to its limits. The racing hard tyres need nurturing it seems!

The BRZ is tuned just for the GT300 championship. I don't have any plans at the moment to improve it so it can race with the big boys. I do plan to tune Nissan GT500 '08 at some point this week to add to the GT500 section.

Let me know what you think of the Camaro tune. I am finding then European and Japanese cars easier to tune and reach a sweet spot quicker than I am for some of the american cars. Not quite sure why but practice makes perfect.

Thanks for the feedback. I will try your changes and refine my tune. The modern american cars are tricky cars to get right. I tend to refine my tuning technique every time I start a new one to see if there is an easier way to get that stiffness out of the handling.

I was pleased with the Diablo tune. Seasonal tunes are fun to create because they are made for one track only. One of my top seasonal tunes so far.

Definitely man, I just figured I'd give it a shot since I was online and as I said, the C6Z is one of my favorite cars. It's a great base to work with but also has great potential. I will try some of your damper settings as well, haven't messed with those on my tune yet.

And yep great tune you have there with the Diablo! Got rid of a LOT of the turn-in push as well as the mid corner instability of the stock setup. Great work. I'm subscribed to this thread so I will look forward to what else you have to put out!

If you like the Diablo tune. I am pretty happy with both the GT-R '07 and the Gran Turismo 350Z car. They have similar characteristics to the Diablo style, especially the 350Z car. My other personal favourites are the Aston Martins (of course, seen as I'm british) and the BMW M3 GTR.

Im going to try. thats for sure! I am happy with my Touring Car tune. That shows some promise. The tail happy Improved class car is another story! Tuning that car on Sports Hard tyres was tricky!

Hi Chris, As per your feedback to the original tune, I have made a few revisions to this car. The rear end is now looser and have more reaction through the bends, LSD has been adjusted to stop the rear tyres spinning up and causing the car to spin off track and I have played with the downforce to improve rear stability. Let me know what you think to the changes.
Many thanks for the previous feedback!

Originally, this car was going to be an 550pp Sports Soft beast. However, this car had very strange handling characteristics. Almost MR type driving characteristics. So, after an hour or so, I switched to Sports Hard tyres and detuned the engine power to 540pp so it would fit into the Japanese 90's Challenge.

About 10 races later, this was the outcome. Godzilla is definitely here. In a straight line, nothing in the Japanese 90's range will keep up. In the corners, well, it likes to slide! and the tyres generally go from blue to red to blue very quickly but if you treat it like a go kart in the corners, you'll have fun through them.

The grande finale for this beast is the exhaust, it's like it stole a dustbin lid and modified it into a car exhaust!

Enjoy!

Very smooth handling Jag. The rear end will slide slightly through corners but it is very controllable and aids the handling ability.

Choose your line, choose a driving style. This car will happily drift round corners if you have fat finger syndrome or will cruise nicely with slight tail action if you prefer throttle control. Cornering is the same, either full sideways with a trail of smoke or nice turning action with a hint of rear end sliding. A car for all drivers.

A real pilot car. Balanced on the edge of Stable/Unstable. Push too hard into a corner and it will smoke the rear tyres, get the corner entry right and you will glide round effortlessly. A real pleasure to drive when everything goes right.

Note 5/3/14 - Having tested this on the GT500 races last night. the steering is a little stiff but I still managed to win very easily, this car eats up the corners compared to the opposition cars. Not much time to adjust the steering at the moment. A thing to do in the future. The tune is good for now though as it can win the GT500 races without much effort at all.

Cadillac CTS-V Coupe '11 (600PP SS) - In progress. may need RH tyres
Amuse Nismo 380RS Super Leggera (550PP SS) - Done & Published

1 more tune to finish from this batch. The cadillac could be a long time coming as I'm struggling to get the handling round tight corners sorted out. Funny really, I would have thought the SLR McLaren would have been a bigger struggle but it wasn't compared to the Cadillac.
