@LordJCS - I can't access it either so they are taking a little longer with the maintenance today. I am buying new cars to tune up this week at the moment. things that look interesting and some cars that aren't commonly tuned up.

Online Racing Meet 2

Shaun Vs JCS
Race 1 - London - Mini vs Clio. Mini win for Shaun. Clio runner up by 1.3 seconds.
Race 2 - Madrid Short - Toyota 86 vs Subaru BRZ - BTTC style and a Toyota win for JCS.
Race 3 - Silverstone National - FITT Mini - JCS win after Shaun went in too deep to a sharp corner. Close race again
Race 4 - Nurburgring GP/D - FITT NSX - JCS a clear cut winner on driver skill. My only conciliation was that I recorded fastest lap.
Race 5 - Deep Forest Raceway - 550PP SS - R8 vs R8 - JCS a winner again. congrats. Im getting use to being the runner up now :)
Race 6 - Monza - Lambo GT2 Diablo '98 Race - Shaun wins by (I joke you not. 00.037 seconds)
Race 7 - Rome - 450PP SH - GTI vs GT86 Anniversary Edition. GT86 won by 1.8 seconds. Very close really considering the difference in cars.
Race 8 - Trial Mountain Circuit - VGT Cars - Merc Vs VW. Shaun in the Merc won by 0.768 seconds. Another close race.
Race 9 - Laguna Seca - 615PP Toyota Hybrid TS030 '12 vs TS030 - A very sloppy race from myself and a kind gesture from JCS still left me lagging behind and coming runner up in this race.

Hi @shaunm80 just about to give your RUF ago:cheers:

When you have time and the credits is there any chance you could tune the 4WD CTR2 '96 RUF because @chrisspeed281 and me are still getting use to driving without any aids and this one being 4WD it would a bit easier to control online with you guys....cheers mate :)

I agree 100 %. The RUF BTR was not a easy Car at GT5 but with the GT6 Physics it's like driving on Ice even with all Aids on :indiff: A TC 6 Drift was a new Experience

Edit : all other Tunes work good as always

That Monza/Diablo race sounds like a real nail biter. Glad you guys are enjoying the online thing.
You should try a few of the cars Shaun & I have tuned around Bathurst. There's a few between 400-450pp that will lap around the 2:30 - 2:35 mark.

I normaly don't use any overhyped pasta rockets, but i did make an exception for Shaun this time around.

Most of the time Shaun was in the lead since i noticed i didn't have a proper tune for the car..

Here's how it came to pass. I started braking later at almost every corner in order to inch up on Shauns tailpipe, and i think it got to him in the end. I got a nice run through the last chicane leading out to the long back straight. Shaun missed the entry to parabolica ever so slightly and went sliding a bit and i passed him on the outside. Now the race turned into a dragrace on the main straight. Just as we're about to cross the line i missed an upshift and bounced on the revlimiter, and sailing right by me on the left for the victory goes Shaun.

So to sum it all up, Yes pete, it was indeed a nail biter..

Time isn't an issue. Credits however is.. I currently have 332,153 credits. I need to do a massive grinding session to get my credits up ASAP. I am once again a poor tuner. :( The RUF BTR is tuned to be a little loose. Throttle control is key to this tune and once you've got that and a good rhythm, you can make that car dance.

I guess i have to wait till this Car find the Way to GT6 :)

It's a Porsche 996 GT3 RSR. It' a shame that EA don't share the License for Porsche but at rFactor i can have any Porsche i want. darn Politics. Sorry
Its all about the money. PD paid a fortune to have Ferrari in the game, I doubt they'll pay more to porsche after laying out millions to include a selection of Ferraris. Though, they may cough up for GT7, be another selling point for them if they did i guess.

I am very close to giving up completely on Expert Level Single Race at the Green Hell. I have tried it 4 times this morning. 1st time I came 2nd. and then 3rd place every other time after. Annoying as anything. On the plus side, I have now gone back up to 1.1 million credits but still, That 1st place with the nice paint is seemingly out of the question.

Oh, I see. One of those races you watch from time to time that it seems like no one wants to win.
