This car needs to coast through the corners rather than on the power. The better the corner entry, the quicker you can get back on the throttle and be half way up the road before you take your next breath. The key to this car is the insane straight line speed.

This version of the Veyron can cope with certain corners under throttle but good speed judgment and control is required to keep the car from understeering during throttle input in the centre of the corner. This car has better braking ability than SS tyres so you can carry more speed into corners but be weary of sharp corners, you will have to coast through these corners before getting back onto the throttle.

News from the FITT competition is that my Mitsubishi GTO SR '95 looks like it going to come 4th in Driver Choice and 7th in term of overall time. Better news for the NSX. 3 tests down and I'm currently in 2nd place for both overall time and for driver choice points. Im having a very close battle with @Bowtie-muscle who has a NSX tune himself.. not much between us right now. :)
You are up by .3xx with 2more testers I think......safe to say you are likely to come out ahead. DC gonna be tight though.

I think both @Bowtie-muscle and @shaunm80 cars although tuned differently give the same result....speed and comfort. I can't be the only tester who thinks this judging by the scores and times!👍
It's a nail biter boys!:lol:

About the NSX. Is it the one you created for the "Roadracer" class? If so, i'm not surprised about the positive remarks it's getting. You pretty much hit it out of the ballpark so to speak. That car is an absolute joy to drive.

I am not sure if this car had an oil change or not. When setting up this car:
Add power parts first, weight reduction and additional ballast next and check that the PP matches what is stated for this tune. If it is incorrect, change oil otherwise leave it as it is.

@shaunm80 ......Dude!!!!!!Do you sleep? How many new tunes have you posted in the last 24 hours???

Anyway, DC is now tied and you are holding down a slight .136 lead in lap time. Tension is mounting, but we are both still behind @ImToLegitToQuit :irked:
I have no broadband internet sue to moving house. Got to wait till september 15th for it to be installed. I still have 6 tunes still to publish and im working on 6 new ones at the moment. Gotta waste the time wisely :)

I saw the spreadsheet and we are unbelievably close at the end. I dont think well beat legit but i am enjoying our nsx battle. 3 people tied for 2nd place i believe. Its going to be fun. :)

I had a pretty substantial lead after the first two testers, it's been crumbling since. we'll see what happens :cheers:

I've just finished to build, for myself, your whole garage links structure. :)

I like the idea.. I can see how that will work. Have you saved the bookmarks so you can access all the information offline if you (for some reason) wasn't connected to the Internet? That would be a useful thing if you could do that. May be faster as well as it wouldn't have to reload the data from scratch.

I had a pretty substantial lead after the first two testers, it's been crumbling since. we'll see what happens :cheers:

I dont think you should be too worried.. intact, your probably not worried at all. Your car seems to be the most consistent over both tracks as your times dictate.. I hazard a guess you'll still come first even if the gap is getting closer between @Bowtie-muscle and myself to your lead. :)
@Badger66 Great photographer skills. 👍

@shaunm80 C i t r o e n. ;)
Oops. never mind. One of these days (when I have broadband installed), I will go through all the QC things you've done and make sure everything is corrected. Keep up the great work, i don't mind being kept honest one bit :)
About the NSX. Is it the one you created for the "Roadracer" class? If so, i'm not surprised about the positive remarks it's getting. You pretty much hit it out of the ballpark so to speak. That car is an absolute joy to drive.

:cheers:
It is the Road Racer class car I created. Its the one we had a race online with and I was pleasantly surprised by how good it was around nurburgring GP track. I really enjoy the handling, it can bite you sometimes but if you treat it nice, you end up getting a lot of enjoyment out of it.

As i mentioned earlier, I still have 8 tunes ready for publishing, I have 4 or 5 tunes which I am working on now. I thought id upload the 500-550PP SS cars that were finished for you guys as you can use them (test them for me) on the new seasonals. They should be a great car but I'm sure you will let me know which are the best and what times they get. Chrisspeed and Badger have been excellent recently with their posts about what cars are worthy of that gold star appeal :) Keep up the great work people. Ill be back online in a more permanent manner ASAP. For now, Ill just create more great cars for you to drive the wheels off ;)

I like the idea.. I can see how that will work. Have you saved the bookmarks so you can access all the information offline if you (for some reason) wasn't connected to the Internet? That would be a useful thing if you could do that. May be faster as well as it wouldn't have to reload the data from scratch.

It has, for now at least, organizational purpose only. I wasn't interested in using that offline, though I have no doubts it can be done too. :)

Just be aware to not lose their trace, Shaun. :P I''m glad to help. 👍

My assumption was right. Yes, that car is very rewarding to drive once you get the hang of it's behaviour. One need to push it to reap the rewards, but at the same time tread lightly, or it will bite your head off.. As i mentioned to you i had a very nice tune on that very same car in GT5. That car and i were a perfect match, and it's safe to say that this one is shaping up to being at that level of compability with my driving style.

I can throw that car around a wide variety of tracks with upmost confidence, wich in my opinion says alot. Once you get your internet connection in order we must have another go with that car.

Keep up the good work.
