Yeah Blitz187, you got that NSX going really well. If you hadnt have got stuck behind that traffic you would have taken that race.

Ran a 1:51.7xx with the help of FAK's draft. I was about 2 seconds behind him on the start of the lap and made a bunch of time up on the infield and chicane...used his draft to pull me down the main straight after the bus stop. I'll post my tune in a little bit

power went off in half my house. :grumpy: tv, ps3, 5.1 surround and lamps went off:grumpy:

you're damn fast here timeattack must be the ultimate tune 👍

Alright guys that was the last one for me! 👍 going to catch some Z's... Nice racing with you all tonight! Animera, timeattack, Mr. Volcano and FAK who I only saw in front, WAY in front ... thanks for the battles! I'll be back again for sure! :) Goodnight!

Here's my 430 tune:

-14
89

F: 0 R: +2
F: 6 R: 5
F: 5 R: 4
F: +0.08 R: +.13
F: 2.5 R. 1.6

brake balance f: 4 r: 6
steering angle 40

2.838
1.940
1.564
1.279
1.066
.894

4.322

I started out with the TZT tune but found it to be way too unstable so did a few change here and there to help with the 6 axis.

ok thanks i will give it ago later.

You may want to play with the gears a bit, particularly 5th and 6th to increase drafting ability.

One more race then I'm out...feels like my eyeballs are about to fall out.

I've really been having some great battles with Sinsemila, Mr_Volcano and FAK  I haven't enjoyed GT5P this much in quite some time. Thanks guys!

Actually.. did I cause you to spin at the first lap Matt? Really sorry if I did mate. I didn't feel anything.

That was great fun. I can't believe how many people we had then at 600pp, I would have loved to have kept going but ive got work to do and should have stopped ages ago. Thanks everyone for the races.

Yet another night of great racing and some funny moments lol. thanks guys. Off to home for a bit now, catch you all tomorrow.

Thanks to Animera, and Synwraith for the awesome races today. Hope to race you again soon.👍

I saw this last night and was going to post something like "Jesus Christ, where the **** did you find 2 seconds over everybody else?", but then during last night's racing I had a lot of draft around the whole lap from Sinsemila's beautifully-driven 599 and had I not lifted off in one section, it would have been an easy 1'52.

I have also done laps in FAK's draft but I have been closer than 2 seconds to him so the infield bits where he has to brake earlier mean that I have to go slower than I normally would there...but starting 2 seconds back you'd get the biggest whole-lap benefit from his draft and it would have the maximum effect on laptime. Also in the 512BBs draft you could hit your max speed and still not overtake so the laptime benefit is huge. Then of course there's the fact that you've got bags more talent than a lot of drivers :) Well done mate, tremendous laptime 👍

I know I've said it before, but you are without doubt one of the most polite, courteous and yet smoothest and fastest racers I have ever come across. I was pretty disappointed to see you log off last night after those incredible races.

That (:48) was a great one Syn. :P 👍

Ahhh man that was a 50-heartbeats-a-second race! 100% clean and intense from the first corner.....except when I bumped into you at T3 on the last lap!
Unforgettable stuff man, I think it's the first time I've ever seen you log off before me!

Thanks to Animera, and Synwraith for the awesome races today. Hope to race you again soon.👍

Absolutely mate 👍 Thank you to Animera and yourself for being so sporting and waiting when I drove into the SAME parked GTR on the middle of the track 2 races in a row and my frequent spins and so on....it seems I can pull it altogether for a race-winning performance with absolutely no mistakes and great laptimes for one race, then totally balls up the next five :)

Also Sinibomb[GB], great work in the Clio and I'm sorry if you thought I was blocking you early in the night, I was just absolutely not in control of the car, kept getting wheels on the grass, thinking you were going one way etc Absolutely not intentional at all.

The full grids were superb as well, great turnout guys, hopefully more of the same tonight....WITH GTP_Hun I hope :)

All the best

I'm going to start practising for this.

If it's getting big numbers I'll definately be in!

It's a good one because we don't use the rolling start, so we're all in a pack of extremely evenly-matched vehicles and if people are patient and wait a few laps before trying to stick it down the inside of every infield corner, they can draft on the straights making for a thrill-a-minute laps.

It's a matter of taking a little time to get used to people's lines and behaviour on this track.

For example, everyone who races me and gets in my draft on the banking will notice that most of the time I take the high line. I do this because I KNOW they are going to draft and pass so I leave the inside open making it as clean and fair as possible for the guy behind. On the last lap I may just stick to the inside and make them go the long way round. I have also learned where the best line is for taking people like GTP_JvM and GTP_mr_geez because I have raced them so much and trust them fully.

I think the peak time though is late evening GMT where the late night European crew come in and the Australasians are starting to join also.

All the best

Ok, is there one clear winner for a car here? I'm going to give timeattack's tune for the F430 now.

Edit, actually - no I'm not. I'm going to try something new!

Competitive cars seem to be F430 (I managed 1'53), 512BB (1'54), Skyline Coupe tuned, Ferrari 599, Clio and I believe Blitz is racing his NSX 👍 Maybe a 600PP California would be able to compete too.

Doing mid 55's in the M3 at the moment. I reckon I could get it to do 54's with some detailed tuning. Fun to drive!

Edit: nah, haven't got the patience for the fine tuning right now lol. It definately has potential.

Exactly mate! FAK's 512 is one of the slower cars through the infield. Once he's on the straights the thing really has some giddy up up top though . I have a hell of a time trying to get around that "coffin" as he calls it lol. I swear that thing has pretty impressive passing defense against the 430 :sly:. The only way I can get by him is by pulling some crazy late braking into T1 where I'll have to go two wide through the corner under braking, or at T4 where I can outbrake him and possibly sneak through at the apex of the corner. I really enjoy racing him in that car because it's such a challenge to get by. Plus he's so consistent I can really push it on my end without worrying about changes in his braking points, line, etc. Great fun! 👍

I'd have to agree with Synwraith regarding the competitive cars. The 430, 599, Skyline Tuned, and the NSX are probably the top dogs. There's probably some others that are up there to. I found the M3 to be about .5-1 second slower than the 430 in my hands, but I really enjoy driving that beast. The M3 definately has more top end pull than the 430 which in some cases may help to get around a car on the straights. I was going to give Blitz' NSX tune a try today...I'll let you know how it works. 👍
