hey Maz.. I'll come back for 2 more races.. I expect to see that yellow F430 up front..
And that's exactly where I was
(except when you kept hunting me down!!)
Every night more people join this event and it's growing into a classic. Horde35_teamNUR, GTP_EBK thanks for joining in guys, the race was definitely enhanced by your presence.
JvM, you truly are one of the finest racers. Even when you're leading the race and 2nd place has lost your draft, you go through the pits to allow the guys to catch up and race close and 99% of the time that can cost you the win. A real fine example of what everyone here should aspire to. đź‘Ť
The respect and sportsmanship on track continues to improve and impress, but one of you is still trying Hollywood Highway Chase movie-style overtakes between multiple cars when there are no gaps right before a major stopping/turning zone and it's causing mayhem, please be more careful with your driving and try to apologise when you accidentally hit someone, even if it doesn't ruin their race đź‘Ť At least I am 100% certain everyone in the races means well, so you can always put it down to accidents. I really am not saying I drive perfectly, I've caused my share of problems every single night, but I always send apologies.
what a shame about that guy in front it would have been an epic finish!!
Yeah, he was 'Royally Rude'! Ha ha!.
It just goes to show that even with a 50 second head-start, we will still catch slower cars and they can still cause utter havoc. I think maybe if we go back to 20 or 30, at least we have the chance to finish the races in grandstand edge-of-seat fashion where you can employ proper race tactics and be in the right place at the right time on lap 5....therefore our races won't just end in the middle of the bus stop and we won't have our races ruined on the last lap after all that effort instead of the difficulties we encounter on say lap 1 or 2 or 3. Just a thought.
Having said that, seeing almost 9 cars lined up in the pits revving their engines waiting for 50 seconds was a seriously spine-tingling moment, and the anticipation was making me giggle.
All the best
Maz
