Strongly dislike Twin Ring Montegi, although I like the oval. The road course is all hairpins, it has no flavor to it. It's like eating chicken noodle soup.

Good race today... came off a couple of times early on in the race but was ok after that, that corner was dicey that we met at twice gaz!! nice moves pal. like Rich said im not a fan of motegi that much but enjoyed it today. see you in France! aurevoir

Monaco this week.... should be interesting in the F2007 which I think might be a touch slower than the F10? Dont know.

Cant get the stripper in GTA V online to come to my apartment... does anybody know how or when that works? I might have to do a search on that...

Anyways, if anybody wants to do some street racing in GTA V with me just say the time and I'll start a room and we can hit it.

Rich, this is a Gran Turismo forum. Not a GTA forum.

I have not made any laps with the F1 at monaco yet :S How fast are you other guys around?

I did five laps yesterday, and I did a 1.14.559 - with fastest sectors getting me a 1.14.0 (full tank, no tyrewear).

Vettel (Immortal) will be doing low 12s comfortably and I wouldn't put it past him to go low 11s, and maybe 10.8 with low fuel.

Cote D'Azur is my worst track because the hairpin... otherwise I love the rest of it, today I should be able to get my time down to 13.2s.

I recommend saving the Practice Race tonight, and looking at Vettel's lines, entry speed in particular and using it as a guide. Check his line into the right hander before the first checkpoint and also into the right hander leading into the tunnel straight. That alone is worth 0.7 seconds compared to the normal lines I see taken there.

Wow, well you'll be definitely competitive :)

Every Thursday before Sunday's race there is a practice session (usually starts in about 2 hours time), a 5 lap mini race (so no one has a I didn't know I had to break that early into the first corner moments lol), 20 minutes qualifier and then a half-distance race to prepare for Sunday.

If you're doing 1:12s now shows great car control, with practice session and watching Vettel on the onboard replay, you could potentially match him for a fastest lap, I reckon he'll get 1:10.8, but who knows, maybe he can go faster... where Vettel really shines is that he is relentless, lap after lap he gets quicker as the fuel burns off, and that is the mark of a top top driver.

Not every one turns up for Thursday's practice, but I definitely think its worth it - in the FGT World Championship I was miles off the pace, there were races when I was lapped 2 times, and only learnt the track by the end of the Sunday race! This season I've cut out most mistakes, learnt the tracks better :)

sounds great! What is your PSN and when is thursday practice? what time? and who holds the lobby?

The plan was to join you tonight but got involved on f1 again besides in 2007 I can do 12s all day long with my bb and ds3 so much quicker on turn ins to tight sections prob the only track a ds3 user will have a advantage

i was probably wrong, i cant do 1:12 laptimes, i did with ABS on, but i missed the part where it says NO abs xD Sorry!

Couldn't quite make it today, damn. Will have to force myself to practice a good few laps for this one though because the last 2 have been a disaster for me.

I can retire now, I beat Vettel (ImmortalPilot) and Lewis (Artmann) around Monaco yesterday!!!!!

Vettel finished p1 and Lewis p11 in the time trial in the tuned F2007 but I had too much for them in the first practice race in the stock F2007... Vettel was in P2 heading into turn one of the second or third lap, it was all a blurb but he appeared to misjudge the corner and by then I was accelerating away so I can only assume he crashed into the wall... he then got stuck behind slower traffic and the fight was on with Lewis, who was catching up all the way until the last lap... but I showed my true pace then and sensationally blew him away too :D

Team orders, emergency situations and Smedley may prevent a repeat come race day, but this victory will live long in my saved game files!

Well hopefully Senna being in GT6 bodes well for us.... Hopefully that means some options when it comes to mixing it up and keeping it fun. :) I think i racing still only has one F1 car. Sure its perhaps realistic (but I've heard criticisms of it too) but it looks like once again GT6 will be the most entertaining game out there.

sorry I missed practice guys was out at my mates house, my brother told me you messaged me pablo but wasnt me m8, my bro and his friend was playing gta side by side with 2 ps3's lol and his friend used my profile! earnt me 30,000 so not complaining :) had about 10 laps early in the week and best was around 1.12.500 nearly full tank, but f2007 feels terrible on monaco tbh ... didnt enjoy it all that but still looking forward to race day. see you all tomorrow

I agree with you. I was practicing Friday on a qualifing time limit (20 mins if you guys forgot how qualifing works), and the downforce on the stock F2007 makes the car turn like 🤬. In the 15 laps I completed, I manage to get a 1:13.XXX. Unlike Tokyo, & Madrid Monoco is really hard to get a fast lap, since it's a fast, and tight track. The problem I had with getting a fast lap in the F2007 was not just the downforce, but how easily you can lock-up the brakes. If you lock-up the brakes at monaco, you pretty much f:censored:ed up your lap time.

I couldn't of put it better myself
I my self did 2 20 minute sessions one with standard 2007 then with premium 2007 with the standard I set a 13.1 on the 12th lap on fresh set of tyres with 60-70 litres on board.
Then the run in the premium 2007 on the 11th lap 60-70 litres with new tyres I hit a 12.786 but with a lot of unstability on exit of tight corners where the standard with a slightly slower lap had better tyre wear and was better in brake zone with same brake balance
