I'm in with the 2D Race Car '67...
Oh great. That's my tune made a lot harder.
I'm in with the 2D Race Car '67...
I'm in with the 2D Race Car '67 ,let's see what can be done with it.
I've also tested the Honda S800 race car to duel with the professor RJ ,but i've found that this car maxed even with RH tires is too much grippy and hide a lot the tune . Just need to let the car balanced and the rest is with the pilot. Braking at the right point and accelerate at the right moment. It pass anywhere full gas anyway.
I think it would be good to make another categorie for it, perhaps, perhaps i'm wrong... Don't know.👍
Got you signed up.
How does this sound?
- If you enter a tune you may be part of the "side shootout". Where we all tune a S800 on sport softs (maxed out) for more prizes... or maybe just another shootout by its self?.......
I think the S800 race cars need their own class/shootout. They are great little cars and lots of fun but no way are they lap time competitive with the more powerful cars.
How about fastest S800 will receive the same prize 5th place gets? A car worth 75,000 credits.
Sounds good. I may need to have a new "slowest Tune" prize though (it is/was the prize )
VTiRojI don't think you have to change it just because the S800 has it's own mini-contest now, but if you really must, you might as well just change it to the road car.
luv2driveHappy New Year!

Glad to have you.... a testie tunaTheo777I do not know which car I will tune (Challenger maybe?) but sign me up as a testie and tuna.
CSLACRChevy Camaro Z28 [RM] '69 - Tuna
Drove this car so early in GT5 days I don't remember anything other than it was badass, and needed an LSD more than anything I'd ever driven.
Onboy123Anyone got any times down yet? I've started on my car (my childhood dream car of sorts being my car of choice), got a 1:30.xxx with no power added, just slight tweaks of aero and diff…and gearbox.
1:30.xxx seems about right. Ran a 1:38.xxx with the Alfa
Separate class seems like the easiest way. There may be fancier ways though. Thanks for joining
EDIT - I've been thinking up a way to include the Honda, but me truck has broken down and my time has been spent trying to find a way home.
We most likely will have a mini shootout with it, just not sure how yet.

I just got a brand new ferrari so i'll give this a go
Not sure if I am in or out on this one? Worked on a couple of cars that may be good enough, but that hasn't been my style lately. If I post before the deadline then I am in.
This is really shaping up to be a battle between American, big, heavy, powerful and Euro(ish - with one Ford in there) light weight, aero friendly race cars.

Ridox2JZGTESign me up as a tuner please
XDesperado67Guess I should start testing and tuning my entry...got sidetracked by a late Christmas present of MC:LA complete edition.
Either going with huge American muscle or the Jaaagggg.
JohnnypensoI bought but have yet to drive the Ferrari. I may have time before the end of the week to put something together with it in the tuning department. I won't officially enter until I'm sure I can get it done if that's ok.
Motor City HamiI tested the 63 Corvette. A fun car, but so much power. I can get wheel spin all the way into 3rd gear.
The Jag, Ferrari, GT40, Camaro and Mark IV are all cool too, but each have some bad habits to break. It wil be interesting to see if anyone can build a really perfect tune at this PP level. One of my cars has outside wheel spin in one set of corners, then inside wheel spin on another set. LSD is my speciality and I am stuck choosing one of those flawed selections. It's been frustrating, but hey, these are low tech 60's era race cars. The men who actually raced these had giant attachments.
VTiRojI don't know if I'm just expecting too much from an Alfa Romeo made in 1965, but I really don't like how my Carrot Car is handling. I feel like taking the turbo off, switching out the racing hards for a set of sports softs and go after the driver's choice award.
I love the feel of the car (tuned by Clueless ), but it seems to be about 8 to 10 seconds off the lead... still may enter it myself though. (Only car I drive exclusively with in car view )
