Historic F1 cars from a certain Decade I suppose but more importantly a full 24 online race mode, so series can be truly run and we can go out test multiple drivers for the team we draw.

I'd love it if you had to work your way up the single seat ladder. Starting out in Formula Ford, moving on to Formula 3, Gp2 and then F1. And how good you do in these feeder series affect what contract offers you get for your first team There could be an option to do this, so people who want to start in F1 can. Also, in Grand Prix mode, it be cool if I could choose for the weather to be dry at the beginning of a race and then tune it to be heavy rain at the end. I'd like this so that i don't have to rely on the dynamic weather system.

There is gotta be a way to make online racing more ethical/clean. I am driving with 0 zero intention of hitting any body but when they hit me and I manage to survive I get -10 seconds...... Just crazy and annoying! maybe they should rename the online section to f1-derby....

You just have to race with the right people in closed lobbies.

Codemasters experimented with this early on in F1 2010's development cycle, looking to include GP2 as a kind of introductory series for new players. It was quickly dropped because of licencing restrictions.

I doubt a progressive ladder with players going through Formula Ford, Formula 3 and GP3 would be taken too well - people buy the Formula 1 games to race Formula 1 cars. They don't want to be going through wave after wave of feeder series before they can get to the Formula 1 cars.

Oh, I guess licensing would be a big problem. But for your second point about people wanting to go to F1 straight away, I said there should be an option for the progressive ladder. So that people who want to go to F1 straight away could.

EA tried the lower series(trucks & nationwide) and it was boring working your way up. Also alot of the AI drivers in those two series were made up names which also took from the experience. I just have a feeling that it would be a similar experience in F1.

As far as 2012 is concerned, I just want CM to update all the liveries, drivers, and tracks. Then fix all the known issues like the tyre wear, some AI adjustments, safety car programming, penalties, etc. After that, I'd like to see a more complex damage model with options to have it in varying degrees. Like a low, medium, or full setting. Also maybe a little more control in pits like 2010 with the limiter and braking for pit stall. Full control in the pits would be epic, buy could see many issues with this though.

Basically want a fixed 2011 with a few added features. I enjoy 2011 and no doubt would get 2012 if they just fix what they have with some features added. If CM decides to go revamping a bunch of things I'll most likely stay away.

Podium celebration; national anthem (love the Italian one :)); save replay including online; historic drivers; historic cars; historic tracks/circuits (Mont Tremblant, Mosport, etc.

I wish Code Masters would go back and fix F1 2011 and stand behind their game before releasing anymore games... The PC version of F1 2011 is completely useless, the game is cool but unstable as all hell. CM solution is to delete and create new career mode file because is becomes corrupt?!?!? Really? That's the answer!?!? I will NEVER buy another Code Masters game again...

Agreed, it took ages in the NASCAR games just to get a good contract at the next level. If CM put in GP3/GP2 it would be horible waste of time. Stick with what F1 2010 did with starting with Marussia Caterham and HRT something like that

Kind of like a mix of Studio Liverpool's F1:CE and what we have now with a bit more?

Like unlock through TT or through Career.

And yes, italian national anthem is epic.. Would even make my player Italian just too hear it.. :dopey:

In order

1. Improved frame rate and graphics for PS3(i have no idea how it is on Xbox)
2. Another Difficulty level, for those even more expert players(not me, but i know people)
3. Career mode spanning more than 10 years, with driver changes.
4. Podium awards and celebration, while keeping post race interview.
5. Warm up lap/Grid Formation, as well as race finish-drive to pits.
6. Pre-Season Tests.

My only request is for alternate car/driver selection in post-race replay mode. Sometimes it would be nice to know what happened when there's an incident behind me or someone retires. I also would like to watch the in-car lap of those drivers who beat me.

Increased frame rate for PS3!!! I was so upset when I got this game at midnight and put it in the ps3. They have got to nail that down with the new game.

Lately I've really wanted to do the pre-season testing, at least at Catalunya. It couldn't be too hard to put that in the game could it?

That'd be great but I'd be happy to see the AI being more competitive.

It's "GO COMPETE", uh? Currently it's more like "GO LAP THEM ALL". :)

Easy for some to say..... :sly:

You're just too good for the game, the A.I have just given up.

Just go in a slower car.

Just go in a slower car.

I think he lapped all cars 7 times in a Williams on legendary with all aids off..

Well that's what I heard anyway..

:(

No, I mean...the cars should keep up with us, after all. Sometimes you can see that they're 20-30kph slower on straights, that's just not right. I'm not talking about them being Senna, Prost and Schumacher at the same time - just keeping up. :)

I did, of course, exaggerate the situation quite a bit. :P

So how many laps and what car? 2011 performance or equal? :D

Yeah, I think that maybe they just need better set-ups. I assume the AI just use a quick setup, or some random default set-up with 14 wing slowing them down on the straights.

2 big things:
1-AI that make mistakes. That's not realistic, and it can't be called a simulator if every AI is perfect.
2: A replay mode that shows the race as if it were on TV. If I watch my replay, it's just me. But this would show everyone and would have the ticker across the top of the screen with positions, and would be just like watching a race in TV. But there are other things that need more attention, like my first point.

I just wish they would sort out all the exploitation of corner cutting and using run off area as part of the track. At Abu dhabi for example, I've seen people go outside the tracks boundaries for about 4 corners in order to gain lap time. This shouldn't be rewarded - it should always be slower, and dangerous to go on the grass and there needs to be much more of a lack of grip in the run off areas. So many tracks are ruined by this.
