Same.. More reason for me to hold off on getting a CSW so that I can review them both together!

Then just wait until the whole Clubsport line is out including accessories like wall mounts, fixed shifter paddles and smartphone holders. ;)

Customer service didn't even make the top 5.

Where's your review BTW. Have I missed it?

Haven't posted it on GTP. still adding to the review. Really want to add a game by game break down :)

I also want to compare to the CSW in another article.

And then there will be a stand alone CSW review.

But you can see the review by clicking my sig if you wish!

Ok Adam. I'm on iPhone. Sigs and such don't show up.

I'll check it out and offer my criticism later lol.

Take care.

Now come on get. At least here in the states, I have noticed a vast improvement in CS. It all comes down to following procedures set in place properly. It may be a pain to some. But, Fanatec has to protect itself too.

I even this time ate the shipping on my GT2 sent in for repair. They have done so much for me, I feel I should give back too, not just keep taking. This is a far cry from where and how I felt a year ago, but working and some maturity have kicked in......I still have a lot to work on though, lol.

Ant, are you testing the new wheel?

Edit my top 5 comment was just a joke BTW.

LOL, my bad for taking it out of context then. As for the wheel, we will see. I applied via sonac's site. Since I was a apart of the poll for the Elite here, I feel it is only fair to give others a shot on GTP. Fingers are crossed however!

It is not as easy as you write here. A lot of people had negative experience with Fanatec's CS although they followed their rules exactly. So please don't make generalizations.

Everybody makes his own experience. Sometimes good, sometimes bad. Everybody is free to share it here or somewhere else. I personally don't like it when somebody from the one side tries to lecrure somebody from the other side. You never know what happened to others.

Understood Mahne. My first experience was not a great one, March of last year. And I did everything I could. And if people have issues, here in the states that is, I do everything within MY power to assist.

I have heard the horror stories from the past. But, as of late, September/October 2011 on(which is what I was getting at) it seems to have vastly improved. That is all.

Planned rims:

BMW GT2
FORMULA
NASCAR
Classic (wood)
Classic F1
F1 licensed
F1 generic
LMP1
Drift
Rallye
Porsche GT
Simrace special (not realistic but optimized for performance)

That is a nice list. But I think you are forgetting one. Thomas said a couple of pages back in this thread he was also working on a normal leather wrapped wheel.

Yeh I just copied it off the blog :)

He also "We are currently working on four rims of which two of them have been announced already. I would like to encourage you to let me know what rims you like most and what functions they should have like"

I'm pretty sure they must be the first 4 on that list.

The wood rim will be stunning I imagine. There just is something about them in my opinion. Plus it will be very different from any of the other rims.

I think Porsche GT means that. He should have posted pictures to clarify what each wheel means.

Round leather wheel with same amount of buttons as CSR-E wheel should be all that most want.

Probably one of the few on there I wouldn't want myself :/ just barely any cars have a wooden rim any more!

Does anyone buy a CSR Elite Wheel in Quebec ? It is hard to know what will be the exact price (taxes, customs duty). I am french and hate the canadian price system. Add the federal taxes, add the provincial taxes. Grrrr when I read CSR Elite Wheel euro price, I know I will pay this price, but here it is 539$ + something :)

Thats what I want from a racing wheel. Dont need it to have a car sticker on it. If I think It needs one Ill stick one on it. Just the basics with maybe some shift lights.

I would be afraid of getting splinters in my hands :dopey::P

Doesn't happen if good wood is used, it is fine sanded and then has a proper coat of lacquer on it.

All i'm saying is that I Love my PWTS wheel rim. Feels just right in every way for me. even down to the four corners (on a wheel???) lol, 2 o'clock, 4 o'clock, 8 o'clock & 10 o'clock positions where the stitching is, they make nice subtle reference points as to where on the wheel am holding.

Would absolutely love it attatched to a CSW base

I remember Thomas writing about it:
Formula: normal Formula cars (Formula BMW, Ford, etc)
F1 generic: a Formula 1 wheel but without branding

My guess is then that the "Formula" rim (the only one we have already seen one the csw) will most likely be the one he uses for both the CSW and CSR E as well. just speculating.
Although i would prefer the f1 generic... But only because i know we CSR E owners wont get the licensed F1.
Thomas could you make it the F1 generic for the CSRE Formula wheel?!!
