Is the CSW really THAT much better than the Elite?
I'm sure that opinion will vary, but personally I find myself doing almost all PC gaming anyway, so losing the console it's that big of a deal. The multiple rims, quick release, and overall feel of the components making me think I'm holding real race car equipment (or as close as I'll ever get to it) puts it over the top for me.

I really hope it's only an H shifter. I believe you just can not make the mechanism strong enough to do both. I am looking for something strong. After I got my Derek spear sequential I have loved the beating I can give it. I hope this H gate is just as strong!

Any chance someone has a live link to 129 driver beta? Semi-official links are dead and I can't seem to find it elsewhere.
upd: nevermind.

I hope he takes one bigger than hand luggage size then!

Hopefully he will hook up a spare Airbus A380 and fly with only him, the new goods, pilots and some fuel to get it all from China to Germany. :P

Just got email confirmation that Fanatec are shipping my order: :)
Clubsport Wheel Base
BMW Rim
Clubsport V2 Pedals

Got the Formula rim on back-order; to be shipped later at no extra cost. 👍

I guess the second wave of stock has arrived...

Cheers Thomas and the gang! :)

Same here :)

I'm interested to see a video clearly showing the csp v2 brake pedal travel. I currently run g27 pedals with apelectrix load cell (with bodnar cable) which only gives me about 1cm max travel (with little resistance), then it's like pressing against a solid wall. Can take a huge amount of pressure but having no travel sucks.
Any chance one of you owners could point me in the right direction or even make a video?

Cheers

The travel of a v2 and a v1 are the same. They are both adjustable. You can make the throw longer than i feel would ever be needed. Or as short as the 1 cm ur talking about.

Same here :)

:( still nothing for me.

I hope I'm included in the second batch. Ordered on the launch of the website yet my PayPal was only 'accepted' after the news of the second batch being sold out.

Really hope I get mine in August and don't have to wait until September.

I have no issues with waiting for stock to arrive, if that's what you mean?

Well I tried to make joke about this and failed "shipped later at no extra cost 👍"
So you can wait for free 👍👍 :)

Anyways productions seems rolling and wheels arriving.

Anybody willing to measure the length of the brake damper so us still using the V1's could try a homemade mod??

Already been done go to page 363.

FMW, have you gotten the shock you built all sorted out yet? Just wondering about the parts list as I still want to upgrade my shock as well. As you know the stock shock is kinda cheap and the spring is so soft it doesn't even extend the shock all the way out. I don't want anything super stiff because I have put in the 800 oil and it feels pretty good to me but would like to have a better shock and spring.

I wish I did. The issue I'm having is the top cap of our shock. I'll take some pics tonight to show everyone what I mean...The top caps eyelet is too close to the bottom of the cap. You will either have to use a Dremel to grind down the stock mount on the pedal (which I really don't want to advocate) or find a different mount to use on the pedal, but the hardware that Fanatec is using is not something I can't easily find in a hardware store. I have also been looking at some of our competitors shocks and I'm running into the same issue. The top caps eyelet is too far down. In 1/8 scale racing buggies this is preferred, but in sim racing mods it's not. LOL

I am trying fellas. I just want to recommend a proper mod :)

CPV Racing has made the original shock 'Takiei?' used in the original design of the CSP. It was a shock designed for the HPI Savage. Maybe this info helps in your search?

Close Logi, its Tekiei, (敵影), roughly translates into English as shadow, silhouette, or presence of the enemy, he adds the number 1 in Kanji to it sometimes so it is Tekieiichi (敵影一).

CPV Shock, I already passed this info on to FMW a couple of weeks ago, but for the rest of you:

The prototype Thomas sent Tekiei last year was sporting the CPV shock.

I am totaly amaze with the adjustments that you can make on the ClubSport Wheel. The last 2 days I have been wiping the dust off of some Older PS3 racing games. SuperStar V8 & SuperStar Next Challenge V8. WOW !!! ...what a differents with the feedback, handling and No deadzone with the CSW....totaly different feel than with my PTSW.....cant wait to try it on Ferrari Challenge, SuperCar Challenge, and both WRC...I am just using the pre-setup in game and the cars drive like they are on rails with great feel..

Is this your first Fanatec wheel?

EDIT: Missed the part where you state you have a PTSW wheel.

Maybe the difference is a lot greater between PTSW and CSW, never had one.

With the exception of a couple of new adjustments available on CSW, most of these adjustments have been available on other Fanatec wheels such as Turbo S, Carrera, GT2, GT3, CSR & CSR E.

Yes, I agree it is a very nice feature, one of the reasons I own Fanatec wheels.

They might be label as the same adjustment on the PTSW...but we have here totaly different hardware and software on the CWS...its a different animal .....the way they respond differently from each other

Thanks for the correction and the quick Japanese lesson. :)
So he is actually the number one enemy? Nah, just kidding. I believe something has to be added still for that (can't remember as I have neglected my Japanese language training for a while).

Anyways, on topic. I didn't know you already told him else I wouldn't have mentioned it.

@ Everyone:
I hope everyone is enjoying their new toys by now? At least the lucky ones that got an order in during the rough launch. ;)
