Fair enough. I only own the BMW rim. The Porsche rim is sweet, but I have a hard time with brown.

Yea, same here, don't like the brown either but I don't like the weight of the BMW rim. Holding out until they release something else I guess. I already have the Carbon Formula rim and the Universal Hub with new style GT rim.

thanks for the help guys. i went with the bmw wheel. that way if they finaly support ps4 or make a new wheel i will be able to aford it a little easyer. if they don't wind up supporting the ps4 and no other wheel comes out i'm going to order the 918 wheel.

I received my RMA shipping charge refund today. If I'm lucky and I understand their process correctly I should be receiving a tracking email tonight.

Hopefully mine isn't too far behind. I haven't received my refund but my wheel didn't arrive until Wednesday, 2 days ago.

If you don't mind me asking, how did they credit your shipping RMA charge? Through Paypal, credit card? I followed the instructions and E-mailed them a copy of my shipping receipt but it dawned on me that it has no financial information on it to refund my money. So I'm assuming they will use whatever financial information they have on file for the items I've purchased from them.

Yep, so I lost money. I must admit I was ticked. Plus it seems I must wait another 21 days to receive actual money in this PayPal scam thing.
The RMA CSW has no tracking email yet, so still I wait.

Curious what do you mean you lost money ? Paypal to Bank acct transfer time is Standard, Not much can be done there.

Fanatec needs to adopt Amazons return policy, they have enough of a return rate to justify the marginally higher price. Last time I needed to RMA something to Amazon, I emailed at around 11pm and at 8am the next day The UPS guy was there to pick up the item. The day after that he was back with the replacement. That was for a $16 purchase. Surely my $1000 purchase deserves at least the same service.

i need help i just got my bmw wheel rim. i put it on the csb v2 and it stuck it only slides back a 1/4 inch and refuses to come off.

And watch out for that sore chin.

Haha that's for sure. Mine hits me in the mouth pretty much every time I take it off. Its kinda ironic you guys bring this up because yesterday I was going to post up asking if anyone else has this problem on the V2 but never got around to it. My V1 was fine with both the bmw and formula rims but now only the formula rim comes off somewhat easy. Its still way easier to get off compared to the bmw rim, but lot harder than with the V1. I don't care so much muscling it off but I don't want to mess up those pins inside the quick release. I put some silicon spray on the shaft coming out of the base when i first got it but its about wore off now. I'm thinking I'll try some bearing grease to see if that helps.

If the rim is hard to take off you might try to take off the rubber o-ring either on the base side or on newer rims on the rim side

Got my new CSWv2 all set up and running along with my new screens.

I've tried the wheel in Assetto Corsa so far and I've used the BMW rim on the BMW GT2 and also the formula rim on the McLaren 12C GT3. I've also tried it in rfactor on the V8 Supercars mod.

HOLY CRAP what a wheel! All the reviews have been right, this thing is insanely good. Heaps of power, awesome effects through the wheel and just super smooth.

The BMW rim tightness is far too tight though. It requires a hell of a lot of force to get it off. Formula rim is ok. I'm going to try taking the oring on the base to see if that improves it.

i found that the top of the spring was overlaped by the wheel end. it was stoping the lever from pulling all the way back. mine comes off easy know. the spring over laped at the top push it flat.

Yeah that can cause it as well but my QR lever on the wheel pulls all the way back fine. I have had what your talking about happen before though when i first got my V1.
