Really hope they have changed too much compared with the CSPv2 otherwise it's gonna cost :)
One is never finished upgrading i guess

Eventhough i got an AccuForce last week, tommorow evening i will be driving my CSWv2 again........

in Forza Horizon 2 :D

Nice, so the first batch of Universal Hubs for Xbox One are being delivered. I expect a full report on my desk Saturday morning.

Since the sim racing garage direct drive review, I am thinking a lot of an OSW :) but still need some good pedals with an OSW

Yeah,

So much looking forward to this. I stopped playing the FH2 before playing the first finale, just because i didn't want to continue playing without a wheel. I still have great memories of FH1 with CSR Elite.

This exactly. Forza Horizon 1 with a CSR Elite is one of my favorite experiences. I have Forza 5 and basically haven't done much more than install it. Haven't picked up Forza Horizon 2 yet and won't until I get the new Universal Hub. As far as I'm concerned racing games don't exist unless I have a wheel that works with them.

Quick question..

I have a G25. If I buy a Fanatec Clubsport 1.5 SQ shifter can it work as a replacement to the G25 shifter?

On a PC yes, if you get the USB adapter. Basher makes an adapter too.

Surely you've noticed the Proto Sim Pedals thread just north of here? To me they look as good as CST pedals, but at less than half the price.

I am curious about the review. I am amazed by the amount of work needed to build them at a so low price.

I think they are able to offer a lower price because they aren't trying to make $200 on every set of pedals as most others in this segment are. Others are trying to recoup their R&D on every set of pedals they sell.

hey guys please im searching for someone who has a spare invite code to give me so i can purchase this amazing base im reading about. Im going to be moving from the T500RS to this if i can get an invite. Also on their site the club sport pedals v2 wont be in stock till August ending so im wondering could i use my T500 pedals with it?

New (updated) pedals on the way.

I must have missed this, new Club sport pedals?

Any info guys?

Nothing official Mark (no i'm not a beta tester  )
Remember the CSWv1 being out of stock last year? The CSPv2 is out stock atm and available from 31-8-2015 :D

I had quite some fun tonight in Forza Horizon 2 with the UVH for the XB1. After having to overcome the missing of simvibe/GS4/Triple screen and the weaker FFB compared to the AF, it was a great experience.

Can't wait to get back into the game tommorow. I really love all the sims on the PC, but i enjoy a good arcade game like FH2 from time to time. The race fun is pretty good, as good it can get on the console.

Well, things continue to get interesting: https://www.reddit.com/r/simracing/comments/38tdvn/image_of_fanatec_clubsport_pedals_v3_from_the/

I was expecting / hoping for a complete new design and something more like CST / HPP / Prosim tech PT-1 / Heusinkveld.

I still love my modded CSPv2. If the improvement is big enough i will consider buying the CSPv3

I agree. This looks like "CSP 1.V3", I would have preferred "CSP ultra" or "CSP 2" !

It looks like the brake has been redesigned somehow, but it's unclear what has changed. That black module certainly looks much bigger than the former load cell module. It also appears they're preserving the cam on the clutch. The Tilton style pads are nice, and I see angle and height are widely adjustable. I don't see any obvious way to adjust the pedals laterally, which is a shame, as I use that capability.

The basic design seems like it hasn't changed much since V1. There's a lot to like there. It's an elegant design and a good use of materials, but one of my pet peeves is that they can't be inverted without substantial, fiddly disassembly. In my case I'd also need a custom mounting solution. It's annoying that if I want inverted pedals that plug into my Fanatec wheel to preserve console compatibility I'd need to downgrade to the CSR Elite pedals or splurge on the Main Performance PC Sim Pedals.

I find it interesting that the ClubSport Pedals V2 are more expensive and backordered. My gut tells me that people who preordered V2 pedals at $299 USD will discover that they've been upgraded the the V3 edition.

Judging from past practices (CSS and CSW) you are probably right.

I am quite curious about the new brake shock. Looks like that is the major change along with adjustable Tilton style pads.

I'm quite happy with my CSP v2s, I ditched the factory shock for a Mugen RC shock though, but if they have upgraded the actual load cell to something with more resolution and durability then that would be a good move.

Digging the new pedal faces and adjustability though. It's making me think of ways to retrofit a similar set up on to my v2s...
