Sorry mate could you elaborate please or some sort of source?

It's a teaser pic for the new CSP V3. The pic is on the fanatec blog. That's all they are showing right now. Not really any other info on them as of yet.

If you go to the CSP V2 page it says available for pre order and availability on 8/31 so I would assume that page is going to be updated with the V3's and they will be out on 8/31.

Thanks, they've also confirmed that if you preordered the V2s, you will actually receive the V3 for the same price. (Fanatec, Facebook)

Assuming the V3 price is $300. Do you think $200 (+shipping) is a fair selling price for a used set of V2 pedals?

I've owned a CSPv1 which i really loved and i didn't feel the need to upgrade. But i did, I bought a CSPv2 and the brake was a big improvement and i still love them now. To be honest, there's no real reason to upgrade.

However seeing the teaser of the CSPv3, i'm starting to feel the urge to upgrade again, eventhough i'm really satified with my CSPv2.

Because Thomas already confirmed that you can only pre-order the CSPv3 on facebook

I decided to take to gamble and just ordered a set. I will wait patiently untill more details are unveiled. The way i see it this can't go wrong:

-If the improvements aren't big enough, i can always cancel for a full refund.
-On the other hand if the improvements are impressive enough to justify the investment, i will be in the first batch and will be able to enjoy them in the first week of september.

Like mentioned before, i would have prefered a more high-end solution with a complete new design.
However i still like the Xbox One compatility too much, so i have to stick with the pedals that Fanatec is offering.

Just watched the video on their Facebook page. Great looking design, they have gone with red highlights like screws, clutch cam etc along with the black frame and pedal arms. Comes with same pedal faces but also included are the tilton style pads. All are vertical and angle adjustable.

Vibration motor now on throttle as well. When connected to a wheel base it now has on board sensitivity adjustment. New brake design, now has travel and resistance adjustment. Shock absorbsion is now an optional add on, looks like it can be added to both brake and accelerator.

Direct Fanatec handbrake connection on to the pedal set. Resolution is now 4x increased.

Looks like a solid upgrade, although I'd need to see some reviews regarding the strength and feel of the brake pedal, as I wouldn't want to go backwards from my mugen shock on the v2s and its a whole new design so parts aren't interchangeable. The adjustable pedals and new pads look brilliant though. I'm interested.

There is one important info missing in the video: The V3 now have a custom designed ultra durable load cell with 90 kg

That's great news Thomas:tup:

I already have them on order, but i have a couple of questions

- Will we be able to set the brakeforce in the control panel when the pedals are connected through USB?
- Is the damper kit available at launch? What the price ?

I'm a bit hesitant to pre-order. Will V2 be upgraded to V3 in all regions? That would mean (if the website is to be believed) that Australia is expected to receive it a whole month earlier than the US or Europe. I find that hard to believe.

No, just a CSW v1 I have had several issues with. Although its been going strong since its last trip across the country.
Oh well you will be mighty impressed with them, the v2s are excellent pedals so these will be no different I'm sure. They look rad with that red, too.

I wonder if Fanatec would be willing to sell those pedal adjuster plates and alternative pad faces separately.. Drilling a few holes in the side of each pedal arm is no worry to me at all.

I hope so I am currently using G27s with the perfect pedal brake mod. There going on 5 years old now and starting to show their age.

Still winning races with my 4+ year old modded V1's 👍. These(V3) definitely have more promise than the V2's, imho. I was a beta tester on the V2 pedals, and meh overall. Liked the simplicity with mods on the V1's more. The V3's look like a good combo of both.

May be time for a new set of pedals......

And for reference on the V1's. Have gone through 2 PCB's, 2 Accel sensors & 1 load cell. Current PCB & Accel sensor are 13 months+ in use with no issue. load-cell, 3+ years.
