I've been out of the equipment buying phase for a while. Does the Xbox One Universal Hub work on CSW V1 wheel bases? I recall that being yes a few months ago but I can't find anything on the website about it anymore.
Not at all. :-)
Instead of hyping and talking we just concentrate to get our development of the new products done.
Trial run production of the CSL Base will start in July and if everything goes smoothly we can start talking. ;-)
anyone have any fanatec discount codes? I was about to purchase Some Clubsport V3 pedals but I wanted to check first. I'll ask if they can maybe let me beta test the performance brake too.
I think It varies. How is the reliability of the new CSW V2?

sofar i havent noticed any deterioration yet other than a few mm of wiggling i can do between the wheel and the quickrelease system. i only notice it if i push one side of the wheel while pulling the other side. I'm not sure if it's always been like that.

Check the allen screws on the inside of wheel and CSW V2. They loosen up and can cause play.
I don't have any issues after it came back from RMA.
It got louder but in a good way (it emits more fan air noise and in my book it is better then chirping )
It even looks like they changed my usb cable (It does not slide out anymore by the looks of it)
Only downside is that Fanatec does not write what they did but I guess average user is not interested.
Does the official forza wheel work with the V1 on the Xbone? I'm about to get it because my thrustmaster just died but I want to make sure.

I'd agree that preordering AC is a risk, although as you can read on the Fanatec blog post comments we don't know for sure either way yet: https://www.fanatec.com/forum/discussion/187/playstation-compatibility/p5@skazz I think I need to cancel my Assetto Corsa pre order!
I can't believe it's taking Fanatec so long to make this deal.

Marco's post, which is quoted near the end of the comments, leaves room for interpretation. He could be talking about the CSWv2 license for Xbox One only, or he could imply Assetto Corsa Fanatec support on PS4 due to "compatibility" rather than "license".
Agreed if Fanatec wheels were going to work at AC launch there would be no confusion. Kunos are dancing around the subject as to not ruffle any feathers before launch. Fanatec because they are still trying to work a deal and don't want to piss off Sony or consumers any more than they have already. He's being intentionally ambiguous, I'm sure they'd love to have Fanatec wheels compatible with PS4 as they've already done the development work for PC. Unfortunately Sony is playing hardball with Fanatec and there's no solution coming up to ACs concole launch. I'm guessing GT Sports launch is when we'll get a definative answer seeing as it'll be the most pivotal racing title on PS4.
