how many support just the brake motor?
Again basically just those two but with the brake you can just set a specific pedal pressure for it to vibrate at, I put it at 75% just as a reminder for how hard I'm pressing in other sims. I think iRacing does too but I'm not paying a sub for any game!

PCars 2 has the best implementation from what I've used but it only works when using a Fanatec base in that game so as soon as I switch to and Accuforce that's gone! Once I get another buttkicker under the pedals though I wouldn't be able to feel them anyway.

Did you find it useful as a reminder or not really necessary? Do you have the v3 inv? Do you think they are worth 300 for all the features or are they mostly fluff?

Not sure but it is the vibration there to only simulate ABS?

Since you already have the CSL Elites LC that's a difficult one to answer, I picked the V3's over the CSL for the damper option, depressive clutch and stiffer springs having used the standard CSR and not liking the soft throttle or clutch having no release point feel. The damper gives the brake a very nice hydrolic like feel too, I've got it set closer to a road car than a race although still stiffer.

If you are happy with the elites having just got them I'd probably stick with it to see what you personally like/dislike because otherwise you are going to be burning through money in the upgrade cycle! Then again I love me some inverted pedals and I'm very tempted to jump on the deal myself but I think I'll wait and get some Heusinkveld Ultimates since it wouldn't be an actual upgrade for me.

Price is very very good for what you get, if I hadn't got the damper last year I probably would have gone for it no questions asked as it would have cost me less to lose a bit selling stock V3's than buy the damper separately.

They won't be this cheap again until at least next Black Friday but probably won't be in next years offers so there is that. If you think you will want to upgrade then go for it.

On the brake yes, on the throttle it's used for both engine RPM (in RRE) which I didn't like and turned off and wheel slip, pretty much like how the impulse triggers in Forza work.

Just got my tracking number, should be here tomorrow! Don’t you just love German efficienty

Got an email about firmware update, Im a mac user and I’ve only an old netbook with windows 7 on it, would I be able to update the firmware with it?

Bootcamp with windows

If i attach the CSL Elite Steering Wheel P1 (PC/XBOX) to the CSL Elite PS4 base is this what will happen?

1) On XBOX, it acts like a native XBOX wheel
2) On PS4, it will act like a native PS4 wheel

In scenario 2, would all the PS buttons become XBOX equivalents such as the PS Home button becomes the XBOX Guide button?

Perhaps i buy the CSL Elite PS4 with CSL Elite P1 wheel and sell off the PS wheel to save money. I don't want to switch wheels often and would prefer to have native multi-console support since im not sure how close Drivehub emulation is.

Edit: i beleive the CSL Elite P1 steering wheel is equivalent to the PS4 wheel, it just has different button art.

I believe it should work w the 32 bit version.

It took me a few days to get a tracking number too so it must be a fanatec thing, not shippers. We are like little kids waiting for our cereal box free prize to come in the mail! Good times!!

The Dutch are pretty efficient. A lot of webshops you can order stuff before 23:59 and be delivered the very next day!

Does anybody know if the CSL ELITE wheelbase and pedal set will fit on the GT Omega wheel stand or the Next Level Racing Wheel Stand? Also, has anybody had any reliability issies with the Fanatec products? Also do I need any extra cables to hook uo to my PC to uodate firmware and stuff like that? I'm thinking about pulling the trigger on the CSL Elite PS4 bundle but I can't afford to have it die on me lol thanks

I imagine the CSL E has the same mounting pattern as the CSL E PS4 and V3 pedals, in which case yet they do mount up to the GT Omega Wheel Stand which is also what I use.

The wheel is fine with no issues but the pedals can only be mounted at the top and with the two bottom holes you need to come up with a different solution. I used black zip ties and it's extremely secure.

I have the CSL Elite PS4 and pedals with LC brake mounted to the GT Omega wheel stand with the v2 shifter bracket for the Fanatec shifter. The wheel base mounts to stand on 2 of the mounting holes of the CSL. The pedals depend on how you have them spaced. I was able to mount them using the 2 holeou s in the foot rest with the pedals all the way back against the peadal plate and it works great. I would recommend getting some M6 socket cap bolts and lock nuts and washers instead of using the included wing nut bolts so you can secure everything up a bit more.

One good tip with the stand is to make sure to tighten up the pivot points once you have it setup the way you like so you can fully limit the vertical motion. I still get a little side to side wobble but overall the stand works very well. Setting the FFB strength to 4 in GT Sport works well for me without making anything unstable.

Check out Fanatec's page for both pedals as they have the mounting schematics for both just so that you can see it for yourself and be 100% sure. From the looks of it they are exactly the same on both the CSL E Pedals as well as the V3 pedals.

The holes are 275mm x 248mm

Thank you, this helps a lot. Are you satisfied with the CSL Elite? Ive only used the T150 and G29 in the past but I returned them because they didn't feel realistic at all in my opinion. So id rather just spend the money once, and get what I pay for. Any reliability problems? Have you tried it with F1 2017? Jesus, I feel so bad for asking so many questions lol

Yeah, last I heard there was an Update by Polyphony FFB and the rev lights shoukd work now.

I'm ordering the csl wheel and inverted pedals tomorrow. Is this wheel working with gt sport yet?

The CSL Elite PS4 with latest firmware from Fanatec supports GT Sport in the purple compatibility mode which emulates a G29. PD and Fanatec are working on dedicated support for the wheel but we don’t know the exact time frame yet. Works pretty well in compatibility with a few small issues. I would guess it will be even nicer once it is fully supported.

Just bought this:

Perhaps @Fanatec or someone else may know the answer to this? I think the 'ps4 ready' means it will work like that but im not quite sure. Thanks in advance!
