Smooth is not were Thrustmaster shine , never been. The clogging is there, depend how picky you are. It is not a factor when you turn on the wheel. The CSL is way smoother. The focale point where the T-GT shine, especially on GT Sport, is the feedback of the FFB.

Yes I hope this will change one day with a Update and Full Implementation, I think a lot of People who says that GT Sports don't have a good Feedback System never played with a Thrustmaster GT, because to play with this wheel was a amazing feeling, you felt when you break, when the tire spin etc, etc......

But I also decide to take the Fanatec......in hope one day it became the full support.

Wow still no release of the Mclaren wheel? How many are still waiting? I know they said February, I wonder how much longer it will be.

Received an email from fanatec on saturday for 45% off the load cell! Grabbed it without a second thought. Loving my csl elite so far had it for nearly a week and it has really returned my love of racing games after my g29 had issues and I just went to playing destiny for the last couple of years.

Full Implementation of the CSL ELite Racing Wheel in GTS (blue mode)
I have received a n update from Polyphony and got the confirmation that the wheel is already implemented in the code and that they are fine tuning it. Unfortunately I did not get any confirmation when this change will be patched to the game.

Sounds very promising. Looking forward to this much anticipated implementation 'feature' 👍

I received a discount code from Fanatec for the loadcell kit but I will not use it.The code is CSLEP10.Not sure that this code will work for you but you can try it out.

I have just found a post in the Fanatec community that suggests that the CSL Elite E RW now has the Sony security chipset fitted and it works perfectly

Do the Fanatec users agree with this comment, if so I will order one now!

The CSL Elite PS4 version came with the security chip in the first place and was released from the beginning with full PS4 support in general and it is up to the game developer to fully implement that wheel. PD will implement this wheel very soon, until then you can play GTS in purple mode just fine.

So i received the code for the load cell and purchased it but having trouble getting the pressure to register properly even with the light rubber in the pedal.

Finally started doing some of got GT League events and I have to say I love the changes they have made to the physics engine and tire models. Driving an ND Miata in-game REALLY feels like driving the real thing. Feeling the rear end come around is super easy now and you really can back the car in and out of corners just like the real think.

So my T300RS stopped working yesterday (bought it 8 moths ago) and I'm now looking for a new wheel.

Considering getting the CSL but I'm just wondering if the lack of official support from PD is actually a problem? How about reliability?

I use Fanatec since GT6 with the Porsche GT3 RS racing wheel and I was able to keep the pace with GTAcademy guys so it's not really a problem that PD hasn't official support yet.

I got through 3 T300RS wheels (3 chances was enough so I got a refund). Either Logitech or Fanatec will be more reliable, if for no other reason than Thrustmasters consistent unreliability. There’s always a bad one in a batch so there are people out there complaining that their CSLE or G29 broke, but I can’t seem to find anywhere near as many people complaining about Logitech or Fanatec as I could for Thrustmaster. :)

You are probably right, but I suspect there are way more T150/T300 owners than G29 owners by now.

Hey guys. New guy here. I'm based in London, UK.

Was just wondering what Wheel Standshave people bought that DONT require drilling a third hole as I'm not a handyman. I just want to buy it and set it up.

I'm not bothered about whether it'll attach to a chair or a full on gaming rig. As I said I'm new so I'm not looking to go the full distance until late 2018 when I decide to build my PC as well.

I'm on PS4 Pro w/ GT Sport and I' order the Fanatec CSL Elite PS4 Base & Wheel. Also the Elite Pedals with the LC Kit.
All feedback is much appreciated.

Jay.

Albeit not a wheelstand... The playseat challenge wheelplate already has the third hole predrilled.

Thanks PocketZeven. How is the chair mind you as I don't want to buy anything with a chair until I build the PC. Then I'll buy a whole rig etc.
I would recommend the plaseat challenge to everyone. It is supercompact when folded. Wheelstands have a centerpost and it always seems on photos and videos the wheel is a bit too low.

Can't find information of what is the 'shortest longitudinal length requirement' for clamp mounting. I have old wheelstand pro for DFGT, but don't know if it's Plate is big enough for CSL Elite's clamp as T150 barely fits. I only found information about thickness requirements.

Understood. Does anyone know how the Elite Pedals w/ LC Kit matches up on the PlaySeat Challenge Foot Mounts?

If I get a good response I'll purchase next week lol.

Had I not seen these images I would not have thought I could move the wheel base plate forward and back. I always thought my wheel was too close to my body but now it’s so much better.

How was it mounting your pedals to the bottom? Looking to buy the Challenge but I want to make sure the mounts are fine

Haven't checked the thread for a Few Weeks. Disappointed to see no further Update regarding Native Compatibility
@Fanatec...
I have Invested a lot of money Into this piece of kit in which I love to bits. But I bought this mainly for GT Sport and so far I'm still waiting to utilise It's best features.

I'm planning on getting the V3 Pedal Set & The McLaren GT3 Rim this February but I will hold fire till I get some clarification on support coming? Will It at least be coming before the FIA Races start this Spring?

Nice setup. How was it mounting the base and pedals to the PlaySeat Challenge?

Could someone measure table clamps size? Not it's full length but the area between 'base blockers' & 'clamp feet'.

(Either unattached or when attached to thin base)

Wheelstand pro's plate is very narrow, only around ~10cm.
CSL manual doesn't provide any dimensions.

Finally bit the bullet and ordered a CSL Elite with load cell pedal set to upgrade the T300RS GT that kept failing

Obtained refund for the TM piece of rubbish so not too expensive

Hope it is as good as everybody says it is

Can`t wait until Thursday arrives

Excited doesn`t even begin to describe the feeling

P.S. does the wheelbase bolt straight on to the Playseat Evolution?
