Hi I’m new here. I have a one month old gt Dd pro. I’m getting the common scratchy grainy feeling through the wheel on start up for maybe 7 laps on gt7. Sometimes it goes other times not. It’s a little distracting has many others had this? Iv heard it’s also on dd1 too.
What do you have INT set to on the wheelbase?

Hello, I'm pretty happy with my CSL DD PRO, CSL Elite Pedals V2 and PSVR2 + GT7... the new physics update is a good hope for FFB.

I'm just a bit annoyed because it seems that the throttle is not linear in race, it seems to be perfectly linear in the pedals calibration menu, but in race, I need to press about 75% of the throttle to have 50 % throttle gauge on the screen white gauge... the first 50% do almost nothing... I can see see the white gauge progress with little input so I don't know...

Anyone with the same issue? I had the same thing before with my regular DD + Drivehub.

I read that this was changed with a patch in GT, so it's no longer linear. So not really anything you can do to change it afaik

i recall something similar a while back but now not really noticing anything like that (i read the fanatec thread you posted), so first question is did you update the firmware for the base and motor to fw 450? I’m running 448 which was pretty much the same - just some UI fixes. My unit does not run hot.

Also try the settings posted by myself, @Abarth_71, @PirovacBoy and a few others listed earlier on this thread. They are a lot better than the fanatec suggested settings for GT7.

No worries mate, hope that does the trick permanently.

Only thing was increasing NFR to 10 but TBH I've hardly played it since the update.
Hey Arbarth. Have you changed your settings ? Was using yours but there is hardly FFB now??? Seems to be either the
SPR OFF
DPR OFF
When these values are raised to 100 the force feedback comes back but doesn't feel as good as previous?

I tried briefly the other day with increasing in game settings to 6 & 3 but haven't changed anything else. SPR and DPR don't have any effect in GT7 apparently.

As of today when I have those on 0 Absolutely No FFb on wheel? Change those values to 100 and fullnFeedback is back.

Weird, pretty sure mine are off and it felt ok the brief time I spent on it Sunday. I'll have a look tonight and check.

Been using your settings for weeks. Right up to last night for some reason turned it on today and your settings have Zero FFB played about with the setting and found out it is the 0 values on SPR or DPR as soon as they are adjusted all the Force comes back? Must have been an update over night?

Right, I've just checked and mine are definitely off. Just done a few laps of Spa in a Gr3 and my FFB is fine. I did a few more with SPR & DPR on and couldn't feel any difference. I still believe they don't have any effect in GT7.

Just got back on and It's working again for me also??? Super weird there must have been a glitch with my DDpro ? Have your settings saved on my profile 2 and 100% didn't have FFB at all ? It's all good again now 🤔 i have 4 other various settings in my other profile's and yours must just suit my driving style and feel the most. Was gutted when it wasn't working 🤣

The best settings I found when using my DD pro, was actually the Fanatec GTS recommended settings. I was running 7-1 IG as well

I haven't driven much since GT7's 1.31 update, but I did drive the new SF23 quite a bit yesterday and tested many settings shared here and on the Fanatec forum, I think it's safe to say NDP should be turned off at the moment for GT7. Most of the shared settings still have NDP on, they make the car feel disconnected, I couldn't quite tell the grip level, and catching oversteer became very hard, I spun a lot with those. Only settings with NDP OFF felt good to me, I could then actually feel the limit of the grip and didn't have to guess, I had a lot fewer snaps, and even when oversteer happened I could immediately feel and catch it, basically no more spinning! Also, INT makes FFB feel really rubbery even when it's set to just 1, probably equivalent to INT 5 or 6 before 1.31. But I guess it's more about personal taste when it comes to INT.
The settings I settled on for now, based on the settings shared by Stephen Jay here:
SEN AUTO
FF 100
FFS PEAK
NFR 10
FEI 100
FOR 100
Everything else is OFF.

Glad you like my settings. I've made a small change since I posted them and have increased NDP to 5 as I was finding it a bit twitchy after the latest GT7 update.

Guys I'm looking at upgrading to this DD for gt7 from our current t300.

I've never bought a fanatec anything before - is there ever any deals on these or is the price pretty much always 700 euros for the entry pack?

Always the same price I'm afraid. You'll pay around €600/£530 at checkout as the German tax gets deducted. Then when it's shipped into the UK you'll have to pay 20% VAT and a small handling charge. So around £650 in total for the entry level bundle.

They have deals during the holidays/black friday, but for the most part the price is the price. The DD is a good wheel for the money, I just wish it had that 'next-gen' feedback feature that the Logitech set has, @Jordan raved about it in his review. But I'd for sure rather have DD over that feature.

These are mine (8Nm).

SEN AUTO
FFB 100
PEAK
NDP 5
NFR 10
NIN OFF
INT OFF
FEI 100
FOR 110
SPR OFF
DPR OFF

In game 5 & 1.
Cheers fella.

Turned in game up to 10/10 on our t300 the other day, after running it around 5/5 and I was blown away how much better it felt to me. Unfortunately the trusty old t300 couldn't keep it up for longer than three or four minutes and the ffb just faded away to hell.
